I was sitting on my bed dying.

Okay not really.

It's just so hot! I sware I have over one hundred fans blowing on me right now.

"Oh why?!" I groaned flipping on my stomach.

Not only is it hot as heck, but I'm also bored to death. What can you really do on such a hot day? I mean I could go hang around the skate park, but if scorch up to burnt little crisps. My skateboard couldn't even survive!

"Why? Why do this to me? WHY, GOD WHY!?" I yelled looking to my celling. I groaned once again, angrily throwing my head back down, so I was looking at my bed spread.

I heard my phone play the familiar ring tone of 'Homewrecker' by Marina and the Diamonds.

I kept my gaze on my bed spread, as my hand desperately searched the surface to find my ringing phone. Once I found it i quickly pressed the answer button.

"Hello?" I asked into the cell phone, sitting up on my bed, and criss-crossing my legs.

"Hey! Is this the destiny residents?" I heard a amused voice ask.

"NO THIS IS PATRICK!" I yelled into the phone. Finding it heard to conceal the huge grin on my face.

"Oh well sorry. I was looking for a girl named destiny." The amused voice said.

"Oh wait! That is me! What's up Colin, my buddy ol pal."

"Nothing much, probably burning to death. Anyways, Sierra and Leo are busy today, and I was wondering if you wanted to hang out." He asked.

I could feel my smile grow. Yes! I'm not going to die of boredom!

I looked down to my finger that was drawling patterns on my bed. "Sure." I finally answered.

"Okay, cool. I was thinking we could go down to the beach or something!" He said excitedly.

"Yeah, totally sounds cool! Wanna just meet there in like 10?" I asked growing excited as well.

"Alright. Ill see you then." He said giggling.

"Alright. Why are you laughing?" I asked starting to laugh as well.

"I started waving bye. I guess I forgot I was on the phone." I smiled.

"You're just so smart Colin. Really. Looks like someone doesn't get how cell phones work." I said as he let out another laugh.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Bye destiny." He said in a sing song voice.

"BYE COLIN!" I shouted like a little kid into the phone making him laugh before he murmured one last goodbye and hung up.

I smiled, and hung up the phone as well, while jumping off my bed to go get my bathing suit in.

I searched my dresser for a bathing suit, and quickly went to go change.

Ever since the whole talk we had after the party we hadn't really talked, but agreed to hang out again, thus, how he had my phone number.

To be honest. I can't wait to hang out.

It's been a while since I've actually hung out with someone other then Caleb. Now don't get me wrong. I love hanging out with my best friend, but it'll be nice to have fun with someone else for a change.
