"Again."

How many times has Hina said that? Risa's lost count; she pants, sweat beating down her forehead. It's been three weeks since they'd begun training—three weeks without Risa producing one viable visual of her cursed energy. To say she's losing her mind would be an understatement. While the combat portion of their training hasn't been going horrible yet, she finds herself feeling like her limbs are going to tear off, and it didn't help that her sister had specific conditions that came with her mentorship.

"You're not going to use that." Hina stated as they walked down the steps of Jujustu High after dropping her niece and nephew off. Risa had already been annoyed at being there in the first place, and her older sister decided it was the perfect moment to bring that up.

That she said, refusing to even put a name on it, so its existence seemed meek. Risa couldn't even gather any type of response before her sister continued. "There are other ways you can become a socerer." She said as if it were going to be reassuring to Risa. "But you will absolutely not be using that."

She couldn't grasp why it's so difficult. She has enough negative emotions to go around, but nothing comes out. Risa feels as though it's reasonable to compare this to constipation; it's like she hasn't taken a shit in over three weeks.

"Risa, you're listed as being born with heavenly restrictions; having a lack of curse energy isn't part of it." Hina reminds her, and Risa glares at her as she stands across the room, staring with a look that can only be described as that of a judgy bitch.

"I'm trying, okay." Risa bites back, fed up with her sister's audacity during these three weeks. Still, she listens. She tries again and again, but the product is the same—nothing. She has tears in her eyes from fresturation and crouches on the floor, letting her hands get lost in her tangled hair as she proceeds to pull on it, thinking that it would finally get her to snap out of it and just do it.

Hina raises her eyebrows. "Risa." She says as a warning.

Right. Hurting herself won't help, but at this point, she's desperate to try anything. "Sorry, sorry." She mumbles under her breath, rising up from the floor, her cheeks embarrassed that she allowed her older sister to see that.

"Don't apologize, just do better." Hina excuses, finally moving toward Risa. She places both of her hands on her shoulders and says, "I want you to tell me. How do we channel cursed energy?"
