"I'm so glad to finally meet you!!" Amity pulled Eve into a hug, squeezing her, "Max has told me so much!"
"Oh how wonderful." Eve mumbled, pulling away to fully look at Amity's swollen belly.
"You didn't tell mom and dad." Eve looked at him, wanting an excuse.
"They didn't need to know yet. So much going on, I kinda want this to stay between us." Max wrapped an arm around Amity, kissing her.
Eve sighed, she hated how much Amity resembled Kristine with the long blonde braid.
"Oh, can we tell her?" Amity beamed at Max, squealing when he nodded.
"I want you to come to our wedding, you can bring whoever you want." Amity took Eve's hands, holding them.
"Sure?" Eve glanced at Max who only smiled.
"Oh, you are gonna love Whitefall, have you been?" Amity took a deep breath, letting go of Eve so she could hold her belly.
"Wait, Whitefall?" Eve turned to Max.
"We're gonna have the baby there also. Start a life." Max told her,
"In Whitefall?" Eve blinked, she never thought he'd wanna move so far away.
"I'm from Whitefall." Amity admitted.
"You are?" Eve took a step back. Amity nodded excitedly, looking at Max for approval. He nodded, and she reached for Eve's arms.
"I heard you went through quite an ordeal, were you hurt in any way? Physical and psychological." She asked carefully, afraid she might be pushing it.
"Just a few bruises, and nothing I couldn't handle." Eve nervously brushed her hair back.
"I'm sure it scared you a lot, can I?" Amity pointed to Eve's arm. Eve nodded, watching Amity hold her arm with both hands.
"Tell me something you want to forget." She spoke in a stern, clear voice. It's completely different from her usual joyful tone. Eve sighed, raking her mind.
"I'd like to forget the smell of the meat hall." Eve shivered at
the memory of it. The rotten blood smell, the sweat of her and Aiden huddled in the corner.
"What would you have liked it to smell?" Amity asked, with the same monotone voice.
"Fresh flowers." Eve joked.
"Ok. Think of the meat hall, really paint the image. The aroma around you was strong lavender. It burned your nostrils and made you sneeze." Amity told her. Eve blinked, and suddenly the memory changed.
Eve recalled the memory, remembering the dirty walls, the filthy floor, and the nasty mutt that sat in front of them. Yet she remembers smelling lavender.
"Memory Zeil." Eve guessed, smiling at the memory now. Amity let go, nodding.
"It's nothing major. I can tweak a few details in certain memories, but I've seen it for the better more than you can imagine." Amity spoke in her high cheerful tone. Eve chuckled, rubbing her arms. It's odd, she knows Amity messed with the memory, but it refused to change back.
"I better get home, I'll see you later. I'm glad we met Amity." Eve smiled at them, heading for the door. Amity waved while Max shut the door behind her.
Eve sighed, this is gonna be a long day.

Everyone met at the main council building after lunch, Kristine Aiden being the last to show up.
"Here's what I suggest," Max started, making sure he has everyone's attention, "Me, Eve, and maybe anyone else, are gonna board a ship to Selle. It's the quickest way, even if she gets my message. We can discuss with her on what the best option is moving forward."
Aiden bit his tongue on the 'maybe anybody else' line. What was that even supposed to mean?
"I did get in touch with dad, he's on his way so he can take
charge. Any questions?" Max looked around.
"Who can all go with you and Eve?" Kristine asked for them.
"I, for one, would like to keep the parry small. However," Max
glared at Eve, "Someone wants to have multiple people join."
"I didn't say that." Eve glared back.
"I'll go with!" Kristine raised her hand. Noah raised his hand as well. Everyone looked at Aiden.
"About that," He sighed, he hoped he could tell Eve privately.
"I'm being summoned back to The Hidden Souls. Immediately." He told them. Krisitne and Eve frowned, even Noah looked a little disappointed.
"Why?" Kristine asked,
"Because I'm a Hidden Soul?" He eyed her.
"But," Kristine glanced at Eve, pleading with her eyes at Aiden.
"Forget it, Kris." He whispered to her.
"Awful, isn't it?" Max rolled his eyes, being the first one to head for the door,
"Me and Eve plan to leave tomorrow. I'll get the ship ready today." He announced, leaving the room.
