Eveleen grabbed the log book and the letters, putting them in a bag Val gave her.
Val gave them everything they would need: A horse, bags with food and other supplies, clothes, and weapons. Eve almost felt back to her normal self, except her hair. When was the last time she got to wear it in the half pig tails?
Eveleen smiled at the mirror. Now, she's back to herself.
"Why do you wear your hair like that?" Aiden walked in the room, holding a side bag and dressed in dark clothes again.
"Funny story, mother always insisted I would never be taken seriously or have respect from my people if I looked like a child. Now, I just like it." Eveleen told him, checking over some things before leaving the room.
"It's so good to see you again, please visit under better circumstances." Val told both of them as she led them out the door. Back out the secret entrance.
"Thank you again for everything, Val." Eveleen stopped to give her a hug.
"Don't mention it, you know I'm always there for you. Be safe. Send a letter the moment you get home." Val winked at Eve, before kissing her cheek. She blew a kiss for Aiden too, watching them both leave.
"They are both so hot." Mari walked up beside Val, watching with her.
"Mmhm." Val agreed.
"There are some people in the city looking for you." Mari reported. Val blinked,
"More visitors?" She followed Mari to the front, going outside with her. Mari pointed up the street.
"Wait, is that?" Val picked her feet up, running over to Kristine as she talked to a store owner.
"She's tall, very seductive," Kristine described, unable to block as Val wrapped her arms around her.
"I remember you! Kristina, right?" Val pulled back, moving Kristine's hair over her shoulder.
"Just Kristine, but I need to talk to you." Kristine smiled, excusing herself from the store owner.
"Of course, sweet face. You know I just saw Eve and Aiden?" Val smirked. Kristine stopped, grabbing Val's shoulders desperately,
"You did!? Where? Where are they heading? Are they ok? Did they tell you anything?" Krisitne rambled, barely catching her breath.
"Sweetie, yes I know what happened. I helped them, but they really did just leave out my secret entrance. You remember right?" Val explained. Krisitne took off, running back to where her horse parked. They just left, she has to catch them.
"Wait, Kristine!" Philip shouted as she rode past him. No time, she will catch them.
Philip ran down the street, spotting Noah talking to a tall woman. He hurried to them, almost out of breath.
"Did she really run off?" Noah rolled his eyes.
"What happened?" Philip still asked, looking at the stranger.
"Val, nice to meet you." Val smiled, holding her hand out.
"She told Kristine that we literally just missed Eve and Aiden. Went through a secret entrance." Noah explained.
"Damn." Philip sighed.
"But, Eve did tell me where they were heading." Val smirked, liking how she got their attention.
"They argued about it for a bit, but decided on Bellshore."
"That's a few days' ride. Assuming they take back roads to stay hidden, they should get there by the time we do with their head start." Noah planned out to himself.
"Alright go get Leo. I'll go find Kristine." Philip turned to run before Noah had the chance to argue.
Kristine found the entrance. Moments ago, they were right here!! How? How could she always just miss them? She turned, seeing the path her and Aiden took. It leads to Hidden Souls Valley, but she has no clue if they would go there.
"There you are." Philip rode his horse to her.
"They were right here. If we-"
"Val said they are heading to Bellshore. They are going home, Kristine." Philip smiled as he told her the good news. Instead Kristine sighed, leaning forward in defeat.
"I just want to help them. I wanted to tell Aiden how I carried out torturing Odie." The tears burned, leaking down her cheeks.
"Kristine," Philip rode up to her, rubbing her back.
"I'm selfish, I know. I really wanted to be the first to help them. Maybe then Aiden would really forgive me." She wiped her eyes. Philip stayed silent, maybe she'll finally tell him the whole story.
"Are we heading to Bellshore then? It's a few day's ride." Kristine sniffled, whipping her face. Philip nodded. Hopefully they will all reunite soon.
