"Are you excited hara?" a young girl looked up at her mother and sighed. "I guess," she shrugged. "I mean, I'm nervous about who's going to be on my team, ya know." the young red head started to ramble and her mother listened.
"I want Kiki to be on my team but there's only one team with two female's and there's only a slim chance of it being us. What if I get armic? He's so stuck up! But what if I get on obito's team!?" That's when the real panic set in.
"I mean mama! The boy I like, on the same squad as me! I'm going to get distracted and killed because I'm always worried about him!!"
"Rato!! You'll be fine, ya know. Even if you get a team with obito or armic; you'll be fine because you're my girl!" The red haired mother bumped hips with her daughter. "Yeah, yeah you're right," the daughter, hara, agreed with a deep breath. "I'm overthinking again. Besides, it's such a small chance I'll be put on a team with any of them, ya know." Hara took a deep breath again and smiled.
"That's my girl!!" Hara's mom grinned as they approached the academy.
"Now go and get your team!"
"Hai! Bye mama, I'll see you after your date with minato!" Hara ran off as she waved at her mother. "H-hai!" she shouted back with embarrassment. "har! There you are, we're almost late!" a black haired, black eyed girl huffed in fake annoyance.
"Sorry kiki. mama and I were eating ramen and lost track of time. Then we realized we can walk, so we did." Hara explained and her best friend laughed. "Only you and Kushina would put ramen over anything else." The girl, Kiki, continued to laugh as they sat down in the back of the class.
"Well, ramen is the best! Ya know!!" Hara proudly exclaimed with no shame.
"I swear when I die; you'll be the cause of it." kiki facepalmed.
"If you die." Hara rolled her eyes like it was obvious. She sat down as the best friends faced each other.
"No," Kiki rolled her eyes right back. "When I die; it's because I'm protecting you."
"I hate to disagree but I'll be dying first because I'll be the one to protect you; even if it's my fault for you being in danger." Hara was quick to rebuttal.
"I guess we'll see when the time comes." was all kiki said before grinning mischievously. She elbowed Hara while saying behind her hand; "I can't believe you have a crush on one of my clan's members."
"E-ehh! Sush kiki!! He might hear you."
"Oh don't worry; he can't hear us." Kiki once again rolled her eyes; knowing her relative isn't even close to them.
"Well he might, there's always a risk." Hara said as her face cooled down from its tomato red.
"Sure, whatever you say." Kiki deadpanned as the teacher walked in.
"Sorry I'm late, class!" he announced as he clutched the papers in his hand. "I had a meeting with lord third." he added with a nervous laugh and the class was dead silent.
"A-anyway. I know you're all excited for your teams so I'll get right to it." he coughed and they all cheered.
"Team one; yumi hyuga, shiru yuma, and hanz sendo."
"Team two; chika nara, armic hagoromo, and lumar tenro."
"Team three; kiki uchiha, harwen kodon, and might guy." "noooooo!!"
"Team four; kurenai yuhi, asuma sarutobi, and raido namiahi."
"Team five; shirumi yamanaka, iemer tenro, and kairo iburi."
