The war ended soon after their mission and the nations made peace with each other. The leaf village held a funeral for all the fallen ninja and a memorial stone was created for the K.I.A.'ed ninja; Obito's name forever engraved into the stone.
Hara, Rin, and Kakashi grew closer after his death and continued on with their missions. Hara and kiki were as close as always and Rin was added to their little group.
"Hara!! Kakashi, Rin, and guy are in trouble. They need backup ASAP!!" kiki burst through the trees. The small camp they were set at only consisted of Hara, kiki, and three others.
"What!?" Hara had a sudden panic. 'Calm down, think. What would Kakashi and Obito do? Lead your friends to safety.' Hara opened her eyes while standing up. "Kai, shira, and kamahada; go back to the main squads and send word of where we are." she ordered.
"But Captain Hara, are you and Kiki going after them? Why not have two sharingan rather than one?" Kiki's male counterpart, Kai; her twin brother, questioned. Kiki ended up whacking him upside the head.
"Baka! Don't question our captain!" she shouted.
"It's fine, kiki, relax." Hara said with a nervous laugh. "And no, only Kiki and I will go. We need you to protect shira and hamahada in case the enemy attacks. We'll need your sharingan for their protection and we'll need a nara and sendo to relay information and strategize."
"That does make sense." the female, shira nara, stated as she looked between the two.
"Yeah, I suppose." Kai said with a sigh. "Fine then, be safe you two." he added before the three moved out.
"Right, let's go kiki." Hara said and they left with Kiki leading the way.
"It's still a little ways away." Kiki informed after a while. "Right, let's pick up the pace then." Hara sped up as she expanded her sensory. "Kakshi's chakra is faint and Rin's life force almost gone!" Hara sped up even more as she began to worry; more so than before.
"What about guy?" Kiki asked in concern.
"He's still a ways away, taking down enemies off to the right. Go that way and you'll find him." Hara didn't leave room for argument and Kiki knew that. "Hai captain." Kiki said as she made a sharp turn.
"Shadow clone jutsu." Hara made a plus looking sign with her pointer and middle fingers. Two copies of her appeared with a poof as it started to cloud over and rain.
"Hurry, get to Rin as fast as possible. I've got Kakashi." She ordered her clones. They nodded with no complaints and they all split off when a clearing came into view. Hara reached to the goggles tied securely around her neck and she took in a shaky breath. The rain soaked hara as she launched off of a tree and at a mist shinobi; kunai in one hand and the other glowing blue.
"Rasengan!!"
She took out the enemy who was ready to strike Kakashi from behind. "Hara!" he shouted in surprise. "Hiya, kashi." she greeted as they went back to back with kunai.
"Why aren't you with Rin?" he asked and Hara smiled. "I am." and with a jab of her thumb in her direction; Kakashi saw her clones protecting a passed out Rin. "Nicely done." Kakashi said as they fought together. As they fought, Rin woke up to see Hara's clones fighting to protect her.
'I'm out of chakra, but I need to protect Rin and Hara.' Kakashi thought as he mustered up the strength for one last chidori.
"Chidori!!" he shouted while going in to strike down the last enemy. At the last second, Rin appeared in front of the enemy and the chidori went straight through her heart.
"RIN!!!" Hara's scream sounded through the night, on her knees with tears already in her eyes. "RIN, no!!" she sobbed while stumbling to her body. "No, not you too." she whispered in despair as Kakashi passed out from shock and drained chakra.
