"I can't believe he's taking so long to get here." obito complained as he laid on the desk.

"Stop whining uchiha." kakashi bluntly stated and rin agreed with kakashi.

"C'mon guys, don't be mean to obito," hara said nervously while glancing at said person. "He's right. Our sensei is taking a while." she added and Rin sighed.

"Why don't we try to get to know each other better." Rin suggested and Obito jumped at the idea to talk to Rin.

Kakashi ignored it all together and hara agreed when obito did. "Alright, so we all know each other's names right?" Rin started and they all nodded. "Great! Now let's see... hara, what's your favorite color?"

"Orange, obito?" Hara replied and looked over at obito eagerly. "Either blue or orange! Rin, what's your favorite color?"

"Purple! It's such a pretty color!" she sighed happily.

"Alright, what about your favorite animal?" Hara continued their game.

"Ohh cats!! They're so fluffy and cute!!" Rin quickly exclaimed.

"Oh really? I think foxes are cuter." Hara said nervously but Rin disagreed. "No, I like cats much better." Rin shrugged and obito seemed hesitant to agree with her. "I mean, foxes are really cute too." obito reasoned and Rin once again shrugged.

"No reason to fight over the matter," hara said as she smiled. "But favorite food!" she exclaimed and seemed to go into a daydream. "Ramen is the only food to ever exist to be perfect every time!" she drifted off after that and they let her be.

"Uhh, this is team seven right?" a very familiar voice asked and all four heads turned to a blonde haired man.

"Minato!!" Hara shouted as she grinned. "You're our sensei!?" she asked and he nodded.

"Let's meet on training field seven, alright?" he asked and poofed.

"Shadow clone." Kakashi muttered. "C'mon let's go!" Hara rushed out with obito close behind and rin and kakashi lagging behind him. "There you guys are," minato said as he looked over to the four. "Let's get started, shall we." he added and three out of the four nodded intensely.

"As you may have heard, i'm minato namikaze and i'll be team seven's sensei." minato smiled as he looked over the four. "Now; introduce yourselves so I know who you all are."

"I'm Rin nohara!"

"Obito uchiha!"

"Kakashi hatake."

"Hara uzumaki!"

"Hmmm, alright I should be able to remember that." he nodded as he closed his eyes.

"Oh good! You're all here!!" Kushina's red hair blew everywhere in the wind.

"Mother! What are you doing here?" Hara asked as she ran and hugged her mother.

"Well, I wanted to see my daughter and fiance's team." Kushina said as she grinned.

"Oh... ohh!" Hara looked at kushina to minato and grabbed her mother's hand to stare at the plain but cute ring.

"When did this happen?" she gasped as she finally grasped the concept of having a father.

She danced around with her mother as they ignored her new team. It seemed like they were in their own little world; carefree and safe, like every family should be. Hara's team and minato all watched them for a short while before minato went to break them up.

"Alright girls. We'll celebrate later but I've got a team to test." Minato smiled at the two most important people in his life.

"Hai minato-sensei!" Hara replied loudly as she saluted him with a giant grin. She ran back over to her team and was lined up by obito who was trying to get Rin's attention. Rin was fangirling about kakashi as she tried to talk to him, but to no avail as he was staring blankly at some trees.

"Alright everyone; today we'll be doing the bell test." minato said as he walked over to the four genin. "Huh?" They all straightened up and put their focus on minato. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out three bells; holding them tauntingly in front of the four.

"It's simple really; all you have to do is take a bell from me and you pass. Whoever ends up without a bell by midday will be sent back to the academy." minato explained and they tensed up.

"But sensei, there's four of us and only three bells." Rin said worriedly.

"It's because he'll get to send one of us back either way, he's turning us against each other to see how we'll do as a solo ninja." Kakashi explained and minato grinned.

"Alright, when I say so; you'll try and attack me with everything you've got." Minato said as Hara was unusually quiet.

"ready!...GO!!"

They all charged after minato; hara, obito, and rin attacked at the same time; but still never helped each other. A few hours in and Kakashi called the three to him. "We have to work together to get a bell." he said and they all looked at each other.

"Alright," Hara said and smiled. "We can't fight over the bells either. Whoever gets one first, passes." Hara said and they all nodded. "That's fair." Rin confirmed as obito nodded along; too hyper for Kakashi's liking. They formed a plan to try and get the bells. They ended up seceding as rin, hara, and kakashi held bells.

"Here obito," Hara held it out for him. "I'll be the one to go back to the academy." The smile she flashed was full of stress and pain; making it known it was hard for her to do that. "There's no need for that hara," minato said as he stood there watching everything. "You all will pass and become team seven." minato added and the girls' faces brightened up.

"We passed!!" Rin and Hara hugged with tears of joy. Kakashi kept cool; knowing he would've passed either way. Obito was full out sobbing that he finally became an official shinobi; one step closer to becoming hokage.

"Now let's go get ramen!" minato said happily and they all started to walk away. "Let's celebrate!" Hara had rosey cheeks and was extremely relieved and obito grinned as reassurance; dragging her to their team.

They arrived at the shop and took up the empty bar stools. Hara ate the most ramen, beating Obito in their contest. Rin only had a bowl and Kakashi had three. Minto stuck with one bowl and laughed at his students.

Kushina joined them and they spent a few hours eating ramen and enjoying their night. The next morning came and thus started their first mission.

"Weed picking?" Hara and Rin glanced at each other and sighed. Obito started to complain about it being a child's mission and Kakashi insulted him every chance he got. They made their way out of the hokage's office and to the outer homes of the village.

"Ahh! Minato, how are you!?" a chubby older lady walked over to them from her garden as she greeted them. After they talked for a bit; the lady put the four of them to work. A few hours in, she brought out lemonade and they happily drank it.

"Thank you so much!!" she said while bowing and waving them off.

"Man~ that was so boring sensei!" Obito said as he put his arms behind his head.

"Don't whine baka, a mission is a mission no matter how childish it is." Kakashi glared at Obito and he glared right back.

"Now now boys. We'll be getting an actual mission in two days, but tomorrow is an off day. Relax and prepare for the mission." Minato quickly got in between them and got the attention of the girls. "Yay!! A real mission!" Hara jumped up and fist bumped the air.

"Finally! We're getting something worth our skill." Obito smirked as he looked at Rin to see if she noticed him. His smirk quickly turned into a scowl when he noticed her attention on Kakashi.

"Kakashi, do you wanna spend tomorrow together?" she asked with a dreamy look. "No." he said bluntly and she seemed to deflate. "I'll spend tomorrow with you Rin!" Obito was quick to offer.

"O-oh! Sure, what about you Hara? Do you want to join us?" she offered with a sly smile.

Hara's cheeks turned a bright red as she smiled nervously at her friends. "Uhh, yeah! I-I mean, yeah cool; Let's meet up at Ichiraku's." she nodded and glanced at Obito.
