All I Need Is You | Hyunjin x Reader

Breakfast Waffles

Felix's smile could warm anyone on even the coldest of days. You were supposed to be meeting him and Lee Know for breakfast before class that morning. Hyunjin was busy seeing his mother off so he told you to go without him.

~"Have extra waffles for me, I'll see you in class and then we'll have the whole house to ourselves again"~

The warmth in the pit of your stomach grew at the thought of having him back all to yourself to do whatever you please...you bit your lip at the nasty thoughts that began running through your mind but shoved them away as you approached the restaurant.

You walked into the cafe and spotted Felix with two others sitting at the table with their backs to you. As soon as Felix spotted you he beamed waving you over excitedly.

"Yay, my favorite girl is here...I can't wait for you to try the pancakes, they're to die for" he said standing to hug you tightly.

When he let you go you turned to the others at the table. "Good morning Lee Know...and good morning Chris..." you didn't know he was going to be here...it wasn't a big deal though you told yourself..all you did was dance with him for a couple of minutes...but Felix told you how upset he was once Hyunjin cut in the night of the party and that's all you could think about in this moment.

"Good morning y/n" Lee know said eyeing you up and down with a smirk. He was devilishly good looking, each of them were...you could see the way he watched your reaction to Chris' presence..he loved every second of it.

"Morning" Chris said looking down at his menu after stealing a quick glance at you. You couldn't tell if he was uncomfortable or uninterested...

"So what's good here guys?" You asked excitedly sitting down next to Felix across from Chan.

"Well I love their banana fosters pancakes with extra syrup." Felix said already practically salivating.

"Hmm...their eggs Benedict is pretty good and their smoked salmon bagels are good to...I think I'm getting both." Minho said looking at you before looking to Chris who was still fixated on his own menu.

"Channie, y/n asked a question..." Lee Know was definitely trying to provoke a reaction out of him.

"Uhh...the strawberry and Nutella Belgian waffles are good." Chris said finally looking at you for more than half a second.

"Mm that sounds really good actually." Being the anxiety ridden person you were you had already looked up the menu online and had planned on getting the Belgian waffles...Hyunjin even agreed they were some of the best he'd ever had.

The waitress came around and took everyone's orders..
"I'll have the strawberry Nutella waffles with extra whip cream please" you said handing her your menu.

"I uh...I'll have the same" Chris stuttered after you.

After everyone's order was taken you settled into happy conversation, so much of it revolving around you and your life back in the states...I guess it's not everyday they befriend a foreigner...you noticed Chris remained mostly quiet.

"I never got to thank you for the dance the other night" finally grabbing his attention. You did feel bad for ditching him the way you did. His eyes shot to yours...he didn't expect you to acknowledge it at all let alone thank him.

"Oh, no reason to thank me, it was my pleasure" he smiled reassuringly.

"So how's Hyunjin? Where is he anyway, I haven't seen him in weeks...?" Lee know asked.

"Uh his moms been in town, he's taking her to the train station this morning actually—"

You were cut off my giant plates of the most delicious looking food being spread across the table in front of you. The smell alone making your mouth water.

Everyone dug in immediately. Moans of pleasure coming from each of you with every bite.
"Y/n you have to try a bite of my pancakes" Felix said shoving a mouthful at you. You were so thankful for him, he was like the best friend you never had.

"They're good but my waffles are better" you said between mouthfuls.

Chris watched as you licked a smear of Nutella from your bottom lip...tongue grazing across the smooth surface. He swallowed hard, adams apple bobbing...He really was pissed the other night...not at you, but the situation. The moment he was introduced to you he knew he wanted you and he wasn't used to not getting what he wants. It didn't help that you were now apart of the friend group, dangling like a carrot in front of his face. A carrot off limits.

You were so full you could barely walk but you needed to get to class. You hugged your sweet Felix goodbye and he planted a kiss in your cheek...your face reddened and you knew the other two saw it. Lee Know with his signature smirk and Chris looking like he was going to come across the table and tear Felix off of you.
"Oh don't be jealous Channnnie" Lee Know teased.
You burned with embarrassment, you had two men at this table who would ask how high if you said jump and Minho who would sit back and enjoy the show.
Chris shot Lee Know daggers, and he threw his palms up in surrender.

"Thank you all for breakfast, I'll see you guys later." And with that you ran out the door. You were finally able to catch your breath once you were outside in the fresh air...all the possessive masculinity was getting to be to much at that table.

Hyunjin was waiting for you at the desk thumbing through photos when you walked in.

"Hey" you said with a kiss to his cheek before he had noticed you.

"Hey" he said smiling "how was breakfast?"

"It was—interesting...Lee Know was there...and Chris."

Hyunjin quirked an eyebrow up at you when you mentioned Chris. "And how did that go?"

"Fine I guess...he didn't say much of anything...Lee Know kept trying to provoke him though."

Hyunjin let out a huff... "I'm sure he was"
You could see he was bothered... "I'll go with you next time you guys get together." He stated matter of factly.
