You were frustrated...frustrated with yourself...frustrated with what your ex had done to you.
He made you become something you never were. Untrusting. Self conscious. Unimportant.

You avoided Hyunjin the rest of class. You didn't want to face him. You were embarrassed at the way you had acted. You were scared to see Kara all over him again. You were just upset with yourself.

Hyunjin only caught a glimpse of you leaving the building in a rush. You pushed through the large glass doors and disappeared into the crowd before he could even think about catching up to you.

You had the same look of hurt on your face as you did the first time he saw you. He wished there was something he could do or say... reaching into his pocket, he fumbled for his phone in his pocket..holding it in his hand contemplating texting you...

He wanted to talk to you.

Your phone buzzed in the back pocket of your jeans.

Your heart started beating rapidly when you saw the notification. You had been pushing your way through the busy street towards home...towards your park where you could sit and think without distractions.

~Hey, I didn't get a chance to ask today but the new gallery in Gangnam is opening tonight and I was wondering if you would like to go?"~

Ugh...of course you wanted to go. You wanted to go anywhere Hyunjin would be but you already told Felix you would come to his party. Plus you were still letting your thoughts get to you. It wouldn't be fair to Hyunjin to have to deal with you like that.

A party is just what you needed anyway...you wanted to let loose and forget for awhile...something you rarely ever did.

~"I'm sorry, I already have plans tonight...rain check though?"~

You felt bad. Surely he was going to think you turned him down because of the way you acted today...and then your mind started fucking you up even more. He was probably going to take Kara now that you said no. Fuck. You hated this.

~"Ah..okay. Well I hope you have a good night"~

Hyunjin wasn't upset you declined, maybe a little disappointed but...you clearly needed space. You had your own life..maybe you didn't really like him and that was your way of sending him a hint...but he didn't want to think that.

You spent the evening getting dressed for Felix's party.

He had texted you the address and it was quite a hike from your house. You were going to have to take the metro...something you hated having to do. You didn't see the need for a car since everything you needed was in walking distance from your house but you knew sooner or later you would be forced to use public transportation.

You showered and did your makeup....going for a dewy natural look with your hair down in beachy waves.

You pulled on a pair of tight ripped flair jeans with platform sneakers and a skin tight black v-neck top.
You looked in the mirror and liked your reflection...You felt good, attractive, confident with your outfit... staring at your reflection realizing it was everything you weren't...

You managed to find your way to Felix's without any difficulty. The metro was easier than you had anticipated, thank God. You had never been to this part of the city...it was a little more congested than your neighborhood and it was just getting dark so the nightlife crowd was making their way out.
