Godbrand and Oriana finally had a lead on Xavier's kidnapping after employing Lord Beelze's forces.  The Underworld overlord immediately agreed to find the angel, seeing as his disappearance made his little girl so upset.  He could see it affected Godbrand too even though he was putting up a very convincing front.  It was fascinating to see how attached he'd gotten to Xavier thanks to Oriana.

The operation was able to sniff out a location where Lykos had been staying. 

"Lykos was definitely the one that physically took him that day," said Oriana.

"He'll definitely have knowledge of Xavier's whereabouts.  Captain, I want you to coordinate a raid of the complex.  Find Lykos at all costs.  And arrest him.  I'd like to have some words with him."

The captain of Antonello's guard nodded and saluted Godbrand.  He turned on his heel and left.

"I can't wait to bring Xavier home," whispered Oriana, as Godbrand pulled her close.

"Sir Godbrand!  We've got Lykos Phoibos held in this cell.  He's primed for interrogation."

Godbrand nodded his approval and walked into the small room.  Ironically, this gave him flashbacks to when he first met Xavier, making his temper subtly rise as he thought about the fact that this was the demon that stole him away all for the approval of a certain purple-haired weirdo.

"Make this quick," said Godbrand.  "Disclose the location of where you took Xavier, and we'll keep your sentence light."

"Why not let me go?"

"Because you're the kidnapper.  Of course you're getting jail time.  You'll get a trial first, of course… even though I wish they wouldn't even waste their time on the likes of you."

Lykos scoffed. "Truthfully, Mr Magistrate, I don't know the coordinates of the location that I dropped the angel off at."

"… Let's try this one more time."  Godbrand's already thin patience was nothing but a sliver at this point. "Where did you take Xavier?"

"Again, i don't know.  Boss gave me an approximate location, but I had to be blindfolded by him to walk into the building."

Godbrand's fist curled so tightly, his long nails were digging into his palms.  He turned to the guard that was present and walked past him towards the exit.

"Just keep him locked dup in here.  I'm not getting anywhere with him."

Finding Oriana, he told her of his fruitless quest to drag any useful information from Lykos.

"What now?"  Asked Oriana. "I'm so sick of running in circles and getting nowhere!"

"I am too, but there's one thing we haven't tried.  We have probable cause to arrest Lykos, therefore, according to Antonello's Law, we also have probable cause to check some communication logs as well.  If we can find some points where he was talking to Latissimus or to some others, perhaps we could decipher the location that those messages came from."

Oriana looked at her husband with a hopeful look in her eyes. 

"Right, communication logs!  That… that could work.  I can't wait to hold him again."

Godbrand gave her a small smile, signaling thAt he agreed.
