Debbie opened the door with a warm smile, her eyes sparkling as she greeted Lou. "Hey there," she whispered.

Lou couldn't help but return Debbie's smile despite the lingering doubts and warnings from Tammy.

"Hey"

Debbie stepped aside, allowing Lou to enter her apartment.

Lou couldn't help but be impressed by the beauty of Debbie's apartment. The vintage decor, with its warm colors of green, brown, and red, created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Books lined the shelves, art pieces adorned the walls, and unique decorations added character to the space. It was clear that Debbie had a keen eye for design and a love for aesthetics.

The apartment was spacious, with an open layout that allowed the living room to flow seamlessly into the dining area and kitchen. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, and Lou couldn't help but notice the balcony beyond, which promised a delightful view of the city.

"Wow, this place it's absolutly beautifull, you had really good taste."

Debbie's smile widened at Lou's compliment. "I'm glad you like it. Make yourself at home." She gestured toward the living room area, where a comfortable-looking sofa and chairs beckoned.

"What do you want to drink ?" Debbie asked disapearing in the kitchen.

"Hmm, whatever you're having," Lou replied, admiring room.

"Well, I'm having a martini," Debbie responded.

"Okay, I'll have the same." Lou's attention was suddenly drawn to a picture. It was a black and white photography nestled partially behind a lush potted plant. It depicted a woman, her form almost naked, her identity shrouded in mystery as her face remained obscured. The sensuality emanating from the image was undeniable. The woman's silhouette was a masterpiece of curves and shadows, her skin seemingly glowing against the monochrome backdrop. Every line and contour hinted at an untold story, a narrative of desire and allure that was both tantalizing and enigmatic. Intriguingly, the woman's body was partially revealed, offering glimpses of her alluring form, but the most tantalizing parts were artfully concealed beneath a billowing white sheet. The sheet's gentle folds and contours added an element of mystique, teasing the viewer's imagination and leaving them yearning for a more complete revelation. It was a photography that walked the delicate line between revealing and concealing, evoking a sense of longing and curiosity that made it impossible to look away.

Debbie returned with two martini glasses, her eyes following Lou's gaze to the photograph on the wall. She smiled knowingly, her voice softening as she spoke, "There, you're maritny."

Debbie handed Lou a martini glass, their fingers briefly brushing. "Thank you"

Lou tore her gaze away from Debbie's back to the photography. "It's beautifull....This picture is just..."

"Yeah"

"Is...that you ?"

Debbie nodded." Yes...back in college I had a friend, well a boyfriend that was a photographer, he took this picture and well...I don't know I was young.".

"Well you're beautifull." Lou locked gaze with Debbie.

Debbie's cheeks colored slightly at Lou's compliment, and she looked down, a bashful smile playing on her lips.

Their martini glasses clinked, the sound echoing through the apartment.

The air in the apartment grew charged with tension as Lou and Debbie sat across from each other. . It was clear that they both wanted to bridge the gap between them, to lean in and share a kiss that had been a long time coming.
