CHAPTER 5

She hurried to home.
'Where were you?' she froze on spot hearing the question from her father
'I was with my friends' she lied.

YN lied because if he ever knew that she is going for a part time job he won't let her go for it again. She is afraid of her father.

'Why are you always at your friends house? don't you have a house to stay? why do you choose that house instead of ours?'

"Because I am afraid of you" she mumbled.

father didn't heard that.
'Did you said something?' he inquired

'She is my project partner we get projects every week. So I am at her house everyday.' she lied ridiculously.
"Please believe" she told herself

'Hm, I am hungry bring me food' he ordered
' yes father' she said and rushed to the kitchen and started making a simple dish .

As she was cooking she heard a phone call. It was her father's phone she listened to his conversation.

'Give me one more month and I'll give you the money'

"what money?" she thought. Knowing her father's behaviour it doesn't took her much time to realise what it was.
"He is in a debt what else ?"she thought and continued her work

YN served the food and sat a bit away from her father. They both started eating food. There was an awkward silence between them it wasn't anything new to her.

But this day was special her father broke the silence and started talking.

'We need to go from here, it is not safe anymore.' he said

She look up in confusion
'a trouble?' she asked

'Not a trouble , but a hurricane'

'How?'
Her father started saying something it's made shocked.

'I am sorry' that's the first thing he said.
She she sat there with her widened eyes.
"Is the world ending?" she thought

'Why?' she asked

'I'm sorry for everything I have done to you I know it's not easy to forgive me for what I did but you need to forgive me, I am a bad father, aren't I? I hurt you a lot but you did not fight back. Please just know that I did all that for a reason.'

she was shocked to hear all these
'A reason?' she kept her coolness and asked she was getting pissed off. Her father is saying to forgive him after everything he has done to her

'You know your mother was very fragile and weak. she was too good that the world broke her into pieces.'

'So?' She asked a bit rudely

'You are being rude. I don't want you to end up like your mother. I want you to defend yourself.'

She stayed silent. her father understood her silence . YN was looking directly at her father's face, he got feeling that the tables have turned. he ignore it thinking it is a gut feeling.

'continue' she said

He continued 'do you know the SK groups and companies the CEO was my high school best friend. the name is Vaughn blackwood.'

YN was listening to its very carefully she knew it was important her father is in the type of guy to start talking if it isn't important.

'After high school we separated our ways we have never seen each other until 2 years ago. When I met him he recognise me. He came near me and introduced himself I recognised him. He was with his daughter and wife it's made me jealous.

'Jealous?' she was curious

'Because.....' he didn't continue, he couldn't

'Because he was happy unlike you.' She finished his sentence. He was speechless he couldn't deny the fact.

She started talking 'I held back all these years expecting you would love me like you did when mum was alive. But you never did. I never did anything to you because I couldn't. My heart didn't allow me.'

Her father wasn't denying anything she said her could he she was simply stating facts
'I am sorry' he looked sad

'That's rich coming from you' she yelled back.
