"Finnaly school is finished" I took off my shoes and fell onto my bed. I closed my eyes for a second but I heard my phone vibrate. "Ughh who could it be" I turned on my phone

I was surprised that she texted me... I saved her number (Micha:))

Parker
Hello Micha I'm surprised that you actually texted me lol

Micha:)
Haha well I just wanted to say hi. What are you doing?

Parker
Nothing much I was going to pass out but you texted me so.

Micha:)
Oh I'm so sorry I'll let you sleep.

Parker
No no it's ok I don't think I would be able to sleep anyway

We continued to text back and forth getting to know what other better and talking about interests. We texted for like...2 hours I think I don't know but it seems like time flys when your talking to someone like Micha

Who knows maybe we do become friends...

Micha's POV

Parker and I texted for hours and hours on end...well it felt like hours. It was about 8pm when she told me she said she had to go something to do with her mother but she didn't get into detail.

But I'm still trying to figure out why her name sounds so formilar

"Micha,Dinner!" I heard my mom shout from downstairs. I slipped my slippers on and went downstairs and took a seat by the dinner table

"How was your first day of school honey" she asked while cutting a piece of her meat. "It was good! I met this new girl...well I bumped into her, she's new to the school so I'm hoping I can become friends with her she seems cool" "that's lovely to hear, whats her name?" She asked "Her name is Parker" my mom immediately stopped eating and she starred at me like I did something wrong. "Mom?" I asked in a worried voice. "Parker?" She repeated "yes" I said

"No no no not Parker" I was counfused "Do you know her?" "know her? Not only do I know her I know her alcoholic mother" she said in an angry time of voice. I was counfused "of course you would forget..you two were only 3"

That's why her name sounded so formilar when I was about 6 mom kept mentioning her name and her mother's name to her friends, I was a child so I didn't think anything of it

"You cannot be friends with her do you understand me Micha?" I could tell she was serious, so I agreed.

Straight after dinner I said goodnight to my mother and went to bed. How can I not be friends with her I thought to myself but my thoughts slowly became a blur when I fell asleep

Parker's POV

"Mom can you just put the wine bottle down and just go to bed" "N-No just leave me alone Parker I am my own women I can do what I want, I don't need my own daughter to tell me what to do" "I can do this with you anymore mom this happens every night! It's getting old"

"Just-just leave me alone" she grabbed the wine bottle out of my hand and marched to her room. "I fought back the tears and went to my own room, my safe place a place where no one can touch me or hurt me not even my mother.

I lied on my bed and starred at my celling hoping that maybe Micha would text me but my hopes aren't high.

My phone vibrates and (Micha:)) shows up on my screen
