A date?

Micha's POV

I just finished the last of my biology homework. I layed ontop of my bed and pulled out my phone, as I was scrolling I saw a new horror movie coming out. If you don't know me I adore horror movies, I love a good old scare.

The movie was about a family moving to a new neighborhood, but what they don't know is that the town was run by people from cults.

Its a classic and who doesn't like classic horrors am I right?

One thing is I don't like watching scary movies by myself because what was the point if you aren't going to be scared with someone else.

The problem is my mom is working in the day and neither of my friends enjoy scary movies, so who could I invite to watch with me?

Parker's POV

I was on my bed dozing off until I heard my phone ring.

I lifted my phone up to see who it was expecting it to be Evan to tell him what the English homework was but no, on my screen read Micha :)

A small smile crept up onto  my face as I picked up "Hey darling what's up?"
I could hear her giggle as she responded,

"Hello to you to Parker, sooo I saw a new horror movie that is coming out in the cinemas and I was thinking maybe  you'd would like to come with me?"

Micha wants me to go watch a movie with her?? I was obviously not going to turn this amazing opportunity down.

"Yes I will go with you"

"Great! After school this week Friday is that cool?"

"Yes that's perfect, I'll see you tomorrow at school "

" See ya!"

I declined and smiled. Is this a date? What no what am I thinking it's just a day out with one of my friends, that's exactly what it is.

My mom walked in and asked, "who were you talking to?" I wasn't going to tell her the truth because if I do she would make it a whole thing, you know how she is...

"It was uhm..it was Evan one of my friends, yeah his inviting me to watch a movie with him on Friday after school" I answered quickly.

"Oh I see, you don't expect me to pick you up do you?"

"No mom..I don't expect you to do anything anymore"

"ugh"  she turned a heal and walked away

I was telling the truth, she doesn't do anything for me and she knows it, that's why she can't defend herself, or even make up an excuse.

But it's whatever, I've learnt to live with it

*FRIDAY*

Micha's POV

I waited outside the school gate for Parker. And a few minutes later I saw the black haired girl.

She looked around for abit and when she saw me I saw a smile spread across her face.

"Hey!" I greeted her.

"Hello dear, how was your day" she responded, I smiled and said it was okay "what about yours?" I sent the question back to her. "It was good thanks...are you ready to go?"

"Mhm!" It's not that much of a walk. "It's alright, I walk often to many places.

I don't know if I saw right but I could see abit if sadness in her eyes.

"Are you alright Parker?" I asked, she could tell that I can see she's upset about something but brushed it off. "Yes I'm okay don't worry, now shall we get walking" I nodded.

We started walking towards the cinema, it was about a 20 minute walk, but luckily it wasn't a hot day which is nice. Parker and I were talking about our day and which teacher gave out weekend homework.
I loved talking with her, it gives me a sense of comfort.

When we got to the cinema I bought our tickets and popcorn for each of use. I also got us drinks and a packet of gummies.

The movie started and the whole room quieted down.

The usual ads and other movie trailers showed before the movie started so it would give enough time for late comers to join and 4 or 5 joined the movie room.

The movie finally started and I could see the excitement on Parker's face and that made me happy, to see her smile.

When she smiles I feel warm inside.

During a few scary scenes I would accidentally grab Parker's hand I would giggle nervously and let it go but she would hold my hand back.

The movie took 1 hour and 40 minutes until it finished.

"Eeeek" I shrilled, that movie was so good it had just enough scary moments. "I agree" Parker chuckled. "Would you like me to walk you home?" Parker asked me as she threw our empty cool drink cup and popcorn bowl. "That would be nice of you" I smiled in a response.

Her and I walked besides each other blabbing about the movie and what was out favorite part and who was our favorite character.

We got to my house and I pecked Parker's cheek and thanked her, I walked to my front door, I waved goodbye and entered my house closing the door behind me.

I felt the warmth of her face when I placed my lips on her cheek. I giggled to myself and went upstairs.

Hii this chapter is the longest chapter I think!! But I enjoyed writing this chapter as I do with the others, sorry I'm not updating quick enough (even tho not alot of people are reading this so I doubt anyone cares lol)
