What a small world

Parker's POV

"Alright everyone remeber to finished page 156 of your textbook and I will be checking" as the words left the teacher in the front's mouth the bell rang for the end of the school day.

I gathered my stuff and made my way to the school gate, finnaly tomorrow is Friday. As I got closer to the school gate I caught a glimpse of Micha with a guy I didn't want to think much of it so I continued to walk.

"Parker sweetie!" it was my mother, my mother hasn't picked me up from school since 6th grade whats so different now. I greeted her with a counfused tone, as soon as I got in the smell of alcohol and cigarettes filled my nostrils, "Do you even still remember how to drive" I joked but she ignored me.

"Got any friends yet?" She asked but I know she didn't care. "Oh yah I do I think Evan and Micha" I answered, she looked at me.

"Micha?" She asked "uh yes?" I was counfused "Jesus Christ what a small world" "come again?" I raised an eyebrow "you don't remember you two were close when you were younger" it clicked no wonder why her named sounded so formilar.

"I don't want you to be friends with that girl, her mom is a total bitch...and to think she use to be my best friend" I kept quiet I knew if i was gonna ague with her I wouldn't win.

"Why did you pick me up" the question finnaly slipped through my lips "Well if your not grateful I won't do it again" she answered me in an annoyed tone of voice, "Well it's not like you don't often" I said quietly, she stopped the car.

I looked at her "get out" she said "But-" "if you don't appreciate my help then you'll fucking walk home" she shouted. I grabbed my stuff and watched her car drive off, I didn't care really. Instead of walking home I went to a nearby park insead I didn't want to deal with my mom's shit at the moment.

I sat on on a bench under a spruce tree. There was a family of four plus a sheep dog, I was jelouse of families like that it looks like they have everything and their joy is never ending.

It was just past 5pm when I decided to walk back home. Went inside and I wasn't surprised when I saw my mom passed out on the couch with a wine glass still in her hand. "Typical" I said to myself.

I went up to my room and pulled out my phone to scroll on Instagram. And i came across one of Micha's pictures.

Wow she's so beautiful, anyone would be lucky to have her as a girlfriend...
