We had just gotten to the movie theater and we're in line to get our tickets. Dexter kept checking his phone for a text from XENA while Kayla right in his face talking to him. Kali and I could both tell bro going through it. I nudged him. He finally pried his eyes from the phone. "Bro just give it time. Ight?" I told him. He put his phone away and perked up. "Your right. So what movie we watching?" He asked putting his arm around Kayla. "Saw X, I won't lie Dexter knows I like scary movies so I hope this valid with you K." I said to Kalii. "Valid? Boy I love scary movies.. I wanted to see the new saw but Xena don't like watching scary movies. So she wouldn't come to the theater with me." Kali said with a hint of sadness in that story. Dexter sucked his teeth we both looked back at him. Like really all because she said XENA name. "Well we can watch it, and I'm glad you decided to come." I told her as sincere as I possibly could. She looked at me with the calm chocolate brown eyes. "Well a bet is a bet, so I stick by my word." She responded. "I know, one of the things I like about you." I told her, she just smiled and blushed a little. I didn't wanna lie or be a dick, tonight I just wanted her to fuck with me. Not sexually but on some real shit.

From Xena. He locked his phone & I could see he was distraught. "Don't listen to Jayson. You want her, and she wants you. Talk to her." I whispered to him. I could tell he was thinking about it. Jayson passed me the popcorn, "I can't wait to watch this movie." I told him. Then some girl in the front row with her man started laughing so loud. "Damn the movie ain't even start yet." Jayson said I giggled. "I know like girl pipe down, he gonna like you whether he funny or not." I said he ate some popcorn and almost choked from laughing. The girl got up and her boyfriend helped her take off her jacket, I looked at her boyfriend harder In the face because I recognized him. Oh my god, that's Kyle. That's Kyle helping that bitch take off her jacket. They sat back down and she was giggling touching his arm. I'm shocked cause like what the fuck? Is this
His girl? His Hoe? Like why even attempt to talk to me? I just starred at them. Jayson leaned over and whispered in my ear. "He's a dumb ass to give up his shot with you, and she trash." He said to me. I laughed. As the lights dimmed and the movie started. I could see them in the front cozy, talking, it was irritating to me. I couldn't pay attention to the movie. After a while of watching them throw themselves at each other. "You wanna see something?" Jayson asked me. "Sure." I said. He balled up his last bit of pretzels in the bag and made sure it was securely closed. He sunk down into his seat and launched the pretzels to hit directly into Kyles date. My mouth dropped open. She jumped up out her seat & shouted what the fuck, as I could see her outfit was ruined by the pretzels hitting her soda, and knocking it allover her clothes. "Who tf did this?!" She screamed I ducked down as the audience was quiet, some people shhh her. We tried not to laugh. She stormed out the theater and he followed her like a puppy. All of us was trying so hard not to laugh too loud. "Now that would've been a great pass." Jayson told me , I just smiled at him, I couldn't believe he just did that for me. "Thank you." I told him sincerely. "Anytime." He responded. In that moment I knew he was trying , so I wanted to really try for him too. I think I'm actually starting to tolerate his goofy ass.
Dexter
We finished the movie and decided to go bowling. We walked into bowl 360. The girls got the lanes and we picked up the shoes. I looked at my phone and Xena finally texting me, asking if we could talk. I texted her back telling her what time. "What she say?" Jayson asked me curiously. "She said she wants to talk. After I drop Kayla off I'm gonna go see her." I told him. "Okay, put your foot down let her know like it's all in or nothing." He said giving me advice. We were finally given the shoes and the girls came over to tell us they got the lane. We started bowling and it was fun Kalii was whooping our asses no joke. The girl is damn good at bowling. She made another strike. "2 in a row! Don't play with it." She said cheering herself on, jayson was standing next to her laughing. " you good I'll be honest. You have a better chance at winning this then beer pong." He said to her laughing then she mimicked her laugh. "Boy bye." She said to him. "Take a picture of me Dexter." She told me. I got up and took the picture of her holding the bowling ball. "Gotta post this after I win." She said cocky as hell. I looked at the time and it was almost 10 I signaled for Jayson to come over. "I'm boutta leave, Im linking up with Xena." I said. "Ight, good luck. I'll take a Lyft back to the house, trying to solidify tonight." He said fixing himself up, he had on his chain all black with the fitted hat. He was dripped out. "Nigga you know she not gonna let you hit right?" I told him. "I don't wanna hit Dex, I'm just tryna have me on her mind instead of this string bean ass Nigga Kyle." He said to me. "Ohhh now explains that weird ass comment at the party. We'll do your thang. I gotta go." I told him. We walked off and I got Kayla. We got in the car and I started it. "Going to get your girl?" Kayla asked me. "What? How-" I said till she interrupted me. "You've been looking at your phone all night, we wasn't even done with the game and now you starting the car before I even put on my seat belt." She said as I just heard the click of her seat belt. The car was started but I just took my hand off the wheel. "My bad I ain't mean to do you like that." I told her sincerely. "It's okay, your nice, you paid.. if I was the girl running through your mind right now I would miss you too." She responded. I just smiled. I appreciated her for just understanding and being real. She was cool tonight too. I drove off and just wanted to hurry up and get to Xena, I'm not graveling she gotta be real with me. No sex, no Bullshit just real.
