A dinner From Hell and Back

After what seemed like a long dinner we were sitting around the table talking, laughing sharing stories, for now everything was calm and good. "So Kalii, what are you studying on campus?" I'm just more focused on classes I guess." He responded in a timid tone, playing with his food. "Well the girls were telling me you have a girlfriend at school." His mom said everyone jumped up in the seats, ears perky and ready to hear, especially Kalii. He looked at me and I gave him a signal to speak. "Well if she's not here then is she really your girlfriend?" Stella asked her sarcastically. I felt a chill hit the room as the tension took over. "Yes, she's really his girlfriend.. whether she here or not that's his girlfriend period." XENA said so intense, I nudged her to stop, "what?!" She responded, "well this isn't weird at all." Will said while sipping his drink. "Why don't I grab the the apple pie and chocolate cake from the kitchen." Stella said pushing her seat back. "Let me help you." His mom said about to get out her seat.
Kalii
"No it's okay, sit down you cooked this whole meal. Maybe you ladies would like to help." Stella responded while looking at us. "Sure." I responded getting out my seat, I tapped XENA shoulder hard to signal her to get her ass up, which she did. We walked to the kitchen, "I don't know what your issue is but girl you throwing a lot of shade." Stella said pressing xena, xena began to get defensive, "excuse me?" She said walking fast and closely to Stella. "Xe chill." I told her stepping between them. "She just trying to stick up for me , I'm Jayson's girlfriend." I told Stella, "baby that's not possible... having a girlfriend isn't in his genes never was never will be." Stella responded. "This bitter bitch really getting on my nerves." XENA responded agitated. Now I was beginning to get frustrated, this girl don't know us as a couple so who is she to speak on anything about us as a couple. "Look I don't know who Jayson was when y'all were together but that's not who he is with me." I responded, "girl take your head out your ass your sitting here with his family but they don't have a clue who tf you are to him, that man does not want a girlfriend nor is he looking for one. Instead of advocating for y'all relationship with me maybe you need to talk to him." She responded so hostile and cruel, "can I slap this bitch now?" XENA asked me, so ready.
Jayson
I walked into the kitchen, and could feel the tension in the air.. everyone eyes locked on me. "What's up? Y'all taking a little long." I Said to them. "I'm going to go see my man for thanksgiving, maybe you should tell your mom to stop inviting your ex to dinner with your new girlfriend." Stella responded, walking out the room gracefully carefree. "Your mom invited her? Of course she did." Kalii responded. "I'm going to bring these cakes to table." Xena said grabbing them and taking them out, at least she did one thing right tonight. I walked over to Kalii and she took a step back. "All this and still don't have the balls to tell your family?" She said with her arms crossed. I sighed, "I'm sorry, I was going to tell them.." I was saying till she interrupted. "Just stop. I'm sleeping in another room tonight." She said trying to walk past me. I gently grabbed her hand. "Kalii come on." I responded. She yanked her hand from my grip. "Leave me alone Jayson." She responded, then walked away. I charged into the dinning room and slapped my hand on the table, everyone cursed me out.  "What the actual fuck?" Nina said dropping her fork. "What's wrong with you boy?!" My mom said angrily. Kalii couldn't even look me in my eyes. "You got something you want to say Jayson?" XENA asked me curiously but with a little sarcasm. "Ma why did you invite Stella?" I asked her infront of everyone, my siblings looked confused. "I didn't invite her." She responded trying to act clueless. "Ma give it up, she already told us you did." I told her. "Yo chill." Derrick said. "Nahh no chill, why ma?" I asked her. "Because you move like a horny teenage boy, I need you to be a man.. all these endless sex raid crazy relationships isn't doing anything for you." She responded getting more and more upset.
Xena
The tension in dining hall is getting thick, I'm just watching this all unravel. "Ma stop?! You don't know what I got going   okay? But since you want to know fine, I'm with someone, she's beautiful and smart and fine as hell and I didn't want to bring her here so she can see how screwed up I am." Jayson shouted, that was so fucking sweet I could hear Kalii heart beating out her chest. "You are not screwed up, you are my son.. you are amazing and ANY girl lucky enough to have you.. she must be amazing too." His mom said getting out her seat to hug him. "Just don't bring Stella back please, I wouldn't want to do that to my girl." Jayson said motioning to Kalii. Everyone eyes popped out there skull in shock. "Wait.. y'all together?" Nia asked. Kalii started blushing and Jayson walked over to give her the most loving, long, luxurious kiss. I almost cried. The amount of love I definitely feel it. "Damn, I guess I ain't stand a chance huh?" Derrick asked Kalii and she chuckled. "Sorry." She said kindly, "NOT A CHANCE." Jayson reminded him so humbly while sitting back in his chair. "Why didn't you tell us when you came in?" Maya asked him, "does it matter? All that matters is that she's here.. everyone this is my girlfriend Kalii." He said, it felt like we was waiting forever for that to come out his mouth, the excitement took over Kalii not physically but I can tell on the inside she was in joy. "Hii Kalii." Everyone said to her as she waved and said Hi back. We continued our dinner with positivity and good vibes. Im so happy for Kalii, she deserved to hear that, Jayson can be a dick sometimes but.. he is falling in love with her, and I love that for them.
