I woke up earlier than usual due to a screech. I sat up and looked around, Waking Obanai up in the process. "Jihyun? whats wrong?" He asked alarmed. "Theres a crow at our window." I told him as I got up and opened a window. "CAW CAW! MESSAGE FOR IGURO OBANI!" It screeched. "Yes, we got that." I told the bird as I took the letter from its foot.
I handed it to Obanai. He rubbed his eyes and read it. "It's the Semi Annual Hashira meeting." He sighed. "I'll be gone for a few hours, but I really just wanna get back in bed with my lovely wife." He groaned. "Obanai! You have to do your hashira duties!" I scolded him. "Dont worry love, let's just go back to sleep." He called for me. I nodded as the bird flew away. I cuddled back into my husband's arms. Where he played with my hair until i fell asleep.
Now it was the morning. I woke Obanai up and told him to get ready as I made breakfast. Unfortunately we slept in a bit but he should be able to make it in time. I quickly wrapped up the onigiri with kimchi in the middle for him. I walked him to the door. "I'll see you later Jihyun." He told me and caught me in a kiss. "Bye! I love you!" I called out as he started walking to the fence. "I love you more than you'll ever know!" He waved back as my face turned red.
OBANAIS POV
'The Semi Annual Hashira meeting just had to be today.' I thought. I was meant to spend the day with my wonderful wife but now here i am as the town we live in is getting further and further away. I made my way to headquarters as everyone else was there.
"The master will be here soon." The two girls informed us. "My, My, Iguro. What took you so long to get here?" Shinobu asked me. "Well it was meant to be my week off, but I was woken up by a crow at 5:00 in the morning." I informed her. Still grumpy at the fact i couldnt sleep in with Jihyun. "Well-" "Master is here." They called out. We all bowed.
"How is the weather today? I feel it is Sunny." He greeted us. "Hello master I wish you good luck and fortune." Sanemi greeted. "Thank you Sanemi." He replied. With the help of Lady Amane we all made it inside.
"With more deaths of slayers we will need to double our missions, I fear." He told us. "Tonight the hashira's who are working will take on 2 missions." He informed us. We all nodded. "Well, you are all dismissed."Iguro, will you stay back for a bit please?" He asked me. "Of course." I replied to him.
Once everyone left he smiled at me. "Hows your wife?" He asked me. "Ah, Shes doing good. We got our house set up." I told him fondly. "Whats your wife's name again?" He asked me. "Jihyun." I informed him "Ah, what a foreign name. Is she from Japan?" He asked me. "Yes, but her parents are from Korea." I told him. "Well, me and my wife got you 2 a house warming gift." He told me as Lady Amane handed me a gift wrapped up in colorful wrapping. "Oh, you didn't have to." I bowed taking it from her.
"I'm glad my children have multiplied, please bring her to the next meeting. So i could meet her." He laughed. "Of course." I replied bowing. "I will take my leave now." I bowed. The moment I walked outside I got bombarded with questions. "What is that?" Shinobu asked me. "A gift from the master." I replied walking away. "Is it your birthday?" Uzui asked. "Maybe." I replied. "Awwww, we missed your birthday." Mitsuri whined. "It's fine." I replied waking out of the main path.
I was nearing the town I lived in. I saw my wife picking up fruit and putting it in a basket. "Will you all stop." I gave them a stern glare. They all gave me a look and backed away. "Ok! someones in a bad mood." Uzui teased. I pinched my nose bridge and sighed. "Well I gotta go." Sanemi said with many Hashira agreeing. Once they all left I walked up to Jihyun and hugged her from behind. She jumped and turned around. "Oh, you scared me." She sighed. I nuzzled into her neck. "How was the meeting?" She asked me. My answer came out muffled.
"Huh? What did you say love?" She asked me. I lifted my head from her neck. "It was ok. My favorite part was leaving so I could get back to my lovely wife." I kissed her cheek. "I'll be busier at night now. Master also gave us a house warming gift." I told her hugging her closer.

"Thats great! we'll open it when we get home." I smiled at him and kissed him. I put the fruit in front of the man. "That will be 1300 yen." He told me. "Ok." I said handing him money and taking the basket. "Let's go home, honey." I told Obanai as I grabbed his hand.
We waked home and I set the bowl done on the table. "You seem tired do you want to bathe and cuddle after?" I asked him. "Of course, it's my favorite time of the day." He smirked at me. "OBANAI!" I screeched. He just laughed at me and picked me up. He carried me to the bathroom and set me down. He started undressing and got in the bath tub. "Aren't you coming in?" He asked me. "Im coming, dont worry." I chuckled and undressed. I got in and he pulled me closer.
I looked at his beautiful face. The scar on his face making him even more attractive. "You're so beautiful, you know." I whispered. "My looks are nothing compared to yours." He whispered back. "Now let me pamper my wife." He said getting shampoo. He put it in his hands and washed my hair. He pored water over my head. Once it was out I washed his hair. His black hair was a little below his shoulders. "Do you want me to cut your hair tonight?" I asked him. "No it's fine sweetheart." He waved me off.
There was silence as we looked at each other. Then he pulled me into a passionate kiss which turned into a full on make out. "Obanai." I panted as he caught me in another kiss. "Obanai!" I called out. "Yes, darling?" He asked his voice a little deeper. "Lets not do this is the bath." I told him. He stood up and took me with him. We dried off quickly and went to our room.
