Once my parents got the letter they came rushing to the house. "Eomma!" I cheered seeing her. "Appa!" I cherred as he showed up. I pulled them into a hug. "Do you guys want tea?" I asked them. "Whats happened! Why did you call us over?" My mom asked concerned. My siblings and there spouses came in. "What happened?! Are you guys getting divorced?!" Hyojin yelled. "Honey, im sure it's not that." Kazumi reassured her. "You all might wanna sit down." I smiled at them as Obanai played with our niece and nephew. "Minji, Seuno, come sit down with mommy and daddy." Minho called for them and they ran over.
"Ok, so we decided to tell you guys early instead of later. Me and Obanai are going to have a baby!" I told them as Obanai was snuggling into my neck. It took everyone a second and then my mom was up and in tears. "Oh, Jihyun!" I hugged me as we cried together. My dad hugged Obanai. We all took turns hugging each other. "How far along are you?" My mom asked me. "Im 3 months." I smiled. "When are you due?" She asked as she took a sip of tea Obanai made. "Im expecting in February." I informed her.
We then celebrated for a few hours. "Well, we better get Minji and Seuno back home and to bed." Minho smiled with Sayeon as he held his sleeping son and daughter. "Thats fine! Im sure they had lots of fun with Samchun Obanai." I laughed. "Oh I bet they did." He laughed. Sayeon hugged me. "Congratulations." She said once more. "Thank you." I smiled. Once everyone left Obanai wrote a note for master.
'Dear master, My wife Jihyun is 3 months pregnant. We would like to meet you on an earlier date, as she will be 6 months by the next meeting.

He folded it and sent it off. "Whens the appointment this month?" I asked him. "The 20th." He told me rubbing my stomach. "Ok. Do you have a mission tonight?" I asked him stroking his hair. "Yes, I have 2 but I'll get them done quickly and come back as soon as possible." He told me as he kissed my bump.
TIME SKIP

We woke up early today because we have to go to the doctor and then meet the master. I got dressed in my kimono luckily I wasn't so pregnant to the point I could fold it. I put my hair up in a bun as my shorter bangs fell in my face. "We'll pin it love." Obanai said as he tucked it behind my ears. He slipped a pin in my hair and bent down to kiss me. He helped me up and I tied his mask. I'm grateful my family accepts him as a whole. I dont know what i would do if they didn't accept his job. "Ok! Let's head out! On our way to the master we can get Kaburamaru some snakes." I cheered as the snake hissed happily.
We walked back into the clinic. "Hello!" The same woman greeted. "Did you book an appointment?" She asked. "Yes, Its under Iguro." Obanai told her. "Ok...The doctor will be with you shortly." She smiled. I sighed and we sat down. "Look at your little bump. It's so cute." He cooed. I looked at him. "Wait till I'm about to give birth." I snickered. "I'm sure it'll be cute then too." He smiled. The way this man makes me want to marry him all over again. "Well, hows work been?" I asked him. "I mean other than the pathetic demon slayers it's been fine. Butterfly estate is full again, Kocho seems busy though." He sighed with a shrug. The door slid open and the doctor walked out. "Jihyun Iguro." He called. We got up and walked into the back with him.
"Welcome back, how far are you now?" He asked. "Im 3 months." I told him. "Ok, Has your pregnancy been fine so far, I know it's not super long ago but still." He laughed. "Its been good so far, I dont really get morning sickness anymore." I told him. "Nothing unusual?" He asked. "No." I answered. "Ok! Well Im just gonna check your stomach." He told me and scooted closer. He felt my stomach and gave me the okay. We left and made our way to masters estate. We were walking towards the gates as I was fanning myself. "Are you ok? do we need to take a break? Go home? Im sure Master will understand." He started asking me. "No im fine it's just hot." Im reassured him. We made it and went inside. Unluckily for us someone with white hair saw us pass. 'was that iguro? whos with him?'
Two girls opened the door and we walked in. "Ah, Iguro." His soothing voice sounded. We both bowed. "Is this your wife?" He asked. "Yes, I am his wife Jihyun." I smiled. "It's very nice to meet you." He smiled. "Thank you. It's an honor to meet you. Thank you very much for the tea set." I thanked him. He laughed. We chatted with him and Amane for a bit and left. "Do you need me to find you more shade? Maybe you should wear something thinner when we travel." Obanai freaked out. "Oba, it's fine." I sighed. It was now dark as Obanai had a hold on his blade. He was always very anxious about demons even though there were none and if they were Obanai always slayed them.
NOVEMBER

I sighed getting up with my bigger baby bump. Now I was 5 months along and surprise surprise! Im back at the doctor this time we get to figure out our babies gender now. "So we'll get a midwife to check the gender of your baby to make it slightly more comfortable." The doctor laughed. He layed a blanket down on my legs and left the room. Soon a woman entered in. "Hi! Im the midwife." She smiles. She shakes my hand and then Obanai. "Ok, Since you are more than half way through your pregnancy, We should talk about Birth. Is this your first time being parents?" She asked setting the blanket and my legs how she needed them. "Yes. It is." I told her. "Ok thats ok. Now,you can give birth here, or at your house. Which ever you chose. Now I will most likely be the midwife helping you give birth but we have a few others." She looked at us. "Ok im going to check now." She lifted the blanket. "Now this might be weird and that is completely understandable." She told me. After a few minutes she put the blanket back over my legs.
"It's a girl!" She cheered. I smiled and looked over to Obanai. He was smiling maybe a little harder than I was. After leaving the clinic we went and got some fruit. We made our way home and sat down to play with kaburamaru. "Im afraid that I will still be working while you give birth. Do we need to hire a caretaker before hand?" Obanai asked. "I'm sure my parents or one of my siblings would watch over me." I assured him. We heard knocking on our door. Obanai got up and opened it. "Hyung!" I heard Hyojin yell. "Ah-" Obanai was soon gripped in a tight hug. "Hows your baby, Jihyun?" She sat by me after letting him go. "Good, we found out the gender of our baby." I smiled at her. "Is it a girl? A boy?" She asked eagerly. "I want you guys to guess." I laughed. "Let's write it down." I suggested. "Alright!" Hyojin cheered. Everyone else arrived later and we all greeted them.

I took the paper after Obanai put his guess down. "We'll figure out after I give birth." I smiled. "We should talk lots to the baby. They can hear our voices now." I smiled. Everyone said bye to the baby and we got ready for bed. Obanai got ready for his mission and kissed me goodbye.
