A/N: CALEO CHAPTER!!! I personally love Caleo and I feel like we don't get a lot of it in the books so when I read/write Caleo I get excited. Enjoy!

Hey, my name is Reagan Lee. I'm kind of head-over-heels for Leo Valdez. His mischievous smile, his sense of humor, his dark, messy hair. And as far as I'm concerned, he's single. I mean, who flirts with a million other girls if their not single? Players. But also isn't a player. He's too nice. And the way he flirts isn't weird. It's funny. He makes jokes. He makes me laugh. And it's been awhile since I've laughed. Ever since...Never mind.

"Reagan?" I turn towards the voice. I gasp. I run towards my oldest friend, Jacob Martin. He and I have known each other since we were babies. When he and his family moved away, I cried for weeks. And the last time I saw them I was crying too. At my mom's funeral. Jacob was another one of the only people who could make me laugh. But we had gotten out of touch after he moved. We forgot to FaceTime, call, and even text each other.

I hug my friend tight. "Woah Reagan," he said. "Take it easy. I don't want to break a rib in the first day of school." My eyes went wide. "You're moving back?" He nodded. "By the way, I have something to tell you." He said. I turned my head. "What is it?" He looked down at his feet. "My sister-" his voice cracked. I looked at him sadly. Whatever this was, it couldn't be good. "My sister is sick. Very, very sick. And your dad offered to help try to find a cure."

I wasn't sure how to react. Sadie was sick? But Sadie was like, immune to everything. I don't think she's ever gotten sick in her life! How could this be happening? "What was her diagnosis?"

"Cancer."

- - - - Time skip by Patricia since Darla and Samantha have mysteriously died....Skip to after school at Reagan's house - - - -

Our two families sat at the table. My dad, my little brother and I sat on one end, and Jacob, his parents, and his older sister, Sadie, sat on the other. We all ate in silence until Jacob said, "So how are things going with you guys? We haven't seen you in forever."

My dad cleared his throat. "Things have been okay. Ever since Eleanor passed, we've been a little low financed but other than that, we're holding up great. How about you guys?" He said sharply. Nobody responded.

Jacob and I headed up to my room after dinner. We sat on my bed and watched Finding Nemo while catching up with each other. "So who's this guy you kept telling me about when we were texting?" Jacob asked. I blushed. "His name's Leo." I said. "Why do you want to know?" He shrugged. "Because I want to know who I'm going to be giving away my Reagan too." He said smirking. I laughed and threw my head back. Even on my worst days...

"Alright, the Martins can sleep in the guest house." My dad said while trying to put everyone to bed. It was a school night after all. Reluctantly, everybody went to bed. Finally some sleep, I thought, collapsing on my mattress.

- - - - Time skip to at school the next day, again by Patricia because she's innocent until proven guilty- - - -

At school, I spent the entire day with Jacob. I showed him around the building, and surprisingly, he was in most of my classes. We ran into Leo in the hallway once and he said "hi" with his signature smirk. "Hey Leo!" I said. "Meet my friend Jacob." Leo looked at Jacob. "Hey, I'm Leo McShizzle, aka the best person on planet earth." I laughed. "Leo Valdez," I said to Jacob. "His name is Leo Valdez." Leo fake pouted for a second, but brightened up and said, "Since you're here, and we're pretty close," he said gesturing to me. "Would you like to meet a few of my friends from camp?" I looked to Jacob who shrugged and said, "Sure."

After school, Leo, Jacob, and I waited in the parking lot for his friends to show up. After a few minutes, a white 14-wheeler with a label that read "Delphi Strawberry Farm" pulled into the lot. Nine people emerged from the vehicle.

A blond haired boy and an emo looking kid emerged first, holding hands. Will and Nico. I thought, remembering Leo's lecture on his friends. Then came a Cherokee girl and a boy with blond hair and glasses. Piper and Jason. A big Chinese looking guy with his arm around a girl with brown curly hair and golden eyes. Frank and Hazel. Then a boy with dark, messy hair and sea green eyes who was holding a blond girl who was pounding on his chest yelling, "LET GO OF ME RIGHT NOW SEAWEED BRAIN!" I laughed. I knew that this could only be Percy and Annabeth. Next out of the truck was a girl with caramel colored hair and dark brown eyes. Hmm, I didn't know who that was.

They all ran up to meet Leo and embraced in a group hug. "Hey, watch it guys!" Leo shouted. "I don't want to be torn up before camp!" They let go of Leo and he pointed to me and Jacob. "These are my school friends, Reagan and Jacob." The girl with caramel hair went up to Leo and hooked her arm through his. "Hi," she said. "I'm Calypso, Leo's girlfriend." My heart sunk. He had a girlfriend after all. I bit down on my lip. I guess Jacob noticed because he put an arm around me comfortingly.

Annabeth pulled forward and whispered something in Calypso's ear. "We'd better get going. Mr. Brunner and Mr. D won't be happy if we're late to the ceremony." Annabeth said. Leo's eyes widened. "I totally forgot about that!" He exclaimed. "Forgot about what?" I asked. Leo's eyes darted back and forth. "Umm, the celebration of...Percy and Annabeth's anniversary! Yeah it's a big deal at camp. It took forever to get them together apparently. I wasn't at camp yet if that's what you're wondering."

I had the feeling that I wasn't getting the full story, but I didn't say anything.  I just wanted to go home and cry right now. How could I have been so stupid? He had a girlfriend. And now that I think about it, he talked about her a lot. I was blinded by my crush.

Leo and his friends waved goodbye and got in the truck and drove away. As soon as they were out of view, I started to cry. Instead of pulling away, Jacob pulled me into his chest and let me cry onto him. "Why?" I asked him. "Why aren't you pulling away?" He smiled down at me. "Because I care about you, Reagan." He said. "I have since the day I met you."

Today, Jacob and I are happily married with 3 kids. And it's all thanks to Leo.

A/N: I loved this one because I think it's so sweet! Thanks for reading!
