Izuku's heart pounded in his chest as the phone continued to ring, his anxiety mounting with each passing second. The anticipation was nearly suffocating, and just as he was about to give up hope, a tired voice crackled through the speaker.
"Yeah?" Katsuki's voice murmured, heavy with sleep and confusion.
Relief flooded over Izuku, but it quickly transformed into panic as he remembered the impending wedding and Katsuki's lack of a proper suit. He struggled to find the right words, his voice laced with urgency.
"Katsuki! Where are you? We only have a few hours before the wedding, and you still need a suit!" Izuku blurted out, the worry evident in his tone.
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the line, broken only by Katsuki's deep inhale and exhale as he fully awakened. "Shit... I forgot about that," Katsuki muttered, his voice tinged with frustration.
Izuku's panic escalated, his mind racing through the possibilities. He imagined Katsuki showing up at the wedding in casual attire, sticking out like a sore thumb among the elegantly dressed guests. It was a nightmare scenario that he desperately wanted to avoid.
"We need to find you a suit, Katsuki. I can't let you go to the wedding underdressed. It'll be a disaster!" Izuku exclaimed, his voice filled with a mix of concern and determination.
Katsuki grumbled on the other end, his tone indicating his reluctance. "Fine, fine. I'll figure something out. Just give me some time, Deku," he replied, the weariness in his voice giving way to a sense of begrudging cooperation.
Izuku took a deep breath, attempting to steady his racing thoughts. He needed to find a solution, and fast. "Alright, Katsuki. We'll meet at the usual spot in an hour. Hopefully, we can find a store nearby that has a suit in your size. I'll help you pick it out. We can't waste any more time."
Katsuki let out a long sigh, his voice carrying a hint of resignation. "Fine. I'll be there. Just... don't freak out too much, Deku."
Izuku nodded to himself, a mix of relief and determination flooding through him. He had a mission now, a crucial task to ensure that Katsuki was appropriately dressed for the occasion. With a renewed sense of purpose, he ended the call and set out to prepare for the day's challenges.
His mind brimming with ideas, Izuku gathered his belongings, ready to assist Katsuki in finding the perfect suit. He couldn't let his panic consume him; there was no time for that. This was a problem that they would solve together, facing any hurdles that came their way.
...
Katsuki's heart skipped a beat as the gravity of the situation sank in. He quickly ended the call, tossing the phone aside, and scrambled out of bed, his mind racing. He couldn't afford to waste any more time.
In a blur of movement, Katsuki threw on a random T-shirt, a pair of jeans, and his worn-out sneakers. His hair was a wild mess, but he didn't have the luxury of caring about his appearance at the moment. Grabbing his wallet and keys, he hurriedly dashed out of his apartment, leaving his disheveled bed behind.
The urgency of the situation pushed Katsuki to move swiftly through the streets, his mind focused on finding a suitable suit. He knew he couldn't let Izuku down, and he would do whatever it took to make this work.
