"Silver, where are you?" Mom Yeon called as she and Gray walked through the hallway.

"It seems like your mother's looking for you," Sua said.

'But you're my mom,'

"You shouldn't wander off without telling her or else you'll cause her to worry," Sua gently smiled at him. "She doesn't want you to end up getting hurt. I...I know how it feels to see my son get hurt and it's a terrible feeling. Parents hate it when their children get hurt..."

'Before Mom was hospitalized, I always told my stepfather the answers he didn't want to hear so that he'd beat me instead of Mom,' Silver recalled. 'Mom must've felt so guilty whenever he saw my wounds...'

"Silver, there you are!" Mom Yeon entered the room. "I'm so sorry about my son bothering you, ma'am!"

"He wasn't a bother at all," Sua assured her.

"She was sad and alone," Silver claimed. "So I went and visited her,"

"I'm alright with you visiting anytime you want," Sua said. "But please don't wander off without your mother's permission," 'For some reason this boy's eyes remind me of Donald,'

"Okay," Silver nodded. "I will,"

'It's not fair. I don't want to be Silver Yeon. I want to be Donald Na again,' Silver thought as he laid in bed, staring up at his bedroom's ceiling. 'I wonder what other differences are in this world. Is she still married to that piece of shit?' He recalled Sua's sad eyes when she mentioned parents hating seeing their children get hurt. 'No, she's definitely still married to that fucker. That means that the Donald Na in this universe is still suffering under that bastard's abuse,'

'There's not much I can do for Mom. Right now, I'm only six years old and physically weak. I can start working out more and getting stronger, but it'll take a while. I'm in no position to be able to fight that bastard,' Silver recalled how alone he had been after his mother's death. 'I want to comfort this world's Donald. I want to comfort him the same way I had always wanted to be comforted as a child,'

'Yeowon Elementary School is too far for me to enroll in. I could take an acceleration test to skip grades but even if I were to attend that school, I wouldn't have the means of exposing the school's corruption yet,' He recalled how his mother had been left in the morgue for two days. 'Mom died all alone. I'll visit her as often as possible. I don't want her to be alone in the hospital,'

Silver began to save up all of his allowance. Since the hospital was pretty close to where the Yeon's lived, he didn't need to spend any on his bus fare. After school, Silver often went to the hospital to visit Sua. He would tell her about his day and read to her. He made sure to still spend time with his own family though because he still loved them.

One day, the world's Donald Na arrived when Silver was visiting. "Who are you?" Donald asked while glaring at him.

'He's jealous that I'm spending time with Mom,' Silver noted. 'I can understand why because I'd be jealous too. In his eyes I'm probably just a stranger trying to steal away his mother,' "My name is Silver Yeon. You must be Auntie's son, Donald,"

"Yeah," Donald nodded.

"Silver visits me often," Sua explained.

"I should probably head home since I promised to play video games with my big brother," Silver lied. "Goodbye Auntie, goodbye Donald," He didn't want to encroach on the precious time spent between mother and son.

Rather than going home immediately, he waited in the lobby. He bought two sandwiches, sat down, and began to eat one of the sandwiches. When Donald finally had to leave, Silver caught up to him and handed him a sandwich and some money. Donald was surprised by the action.

"Why are you giving this to me?" Donald asked but still accepted them.

"Auntie wishes she could see you more often," Silver claimed. "Use it for your bus fare so you can visit more," 'I want Mom to be as happy as possible,'

"Thank you..." Donald whispered before rushing out to catch his bus in time. He was shocked that someone years younger than him was showing him such kindness. He would make sure to hide the extra money from his stepfather so it wouldn't be spent on alcohol.

Silver began to drag Gray to the hospital to visit Sua with him. Most of the time Gray would just greet Sua and then silently read while Silver chatted with her. Donald and Gray would also mostly ignore each other aside from greeting each other.

Silver was annoyed by the lack of developing friendship, so he brought up conversation topics and forced Gray to join in. He made sure to choose topics that he knew both of them were interested in. The two boys chatted enthusiastically and Sua was happy that her son had made a new friend.

As the three boys were leaving the hospital to head home, Gray was shocked to see his little brother giving his allowance money to Donald. "Don't tell Mom," Silver requested of Gray. "I don't know if she'll be upset about it or not. She might not even care that I'm spending my allowance on Donald's traveling expenses, but don't tell her just in case she disapproves,"

"But why are you giving it to him?" Gray inquired.

"So that he can visit his mother more," Silver answered. "I want Auntie to stay happy," 'I know that there is no cure. I know that it is inevitable that she'll die so I want her to be as happy as possible in the time she has left,'

"Thank you again, Silver," Donald said. "I'll figure out some way to repay you,"

"You don't have to," Silver shook his head as he and Gray started heading home. 'In my original life, I wondered if Gray and I could've been friends if we had met earlier. I had Gray become friends with Donald in this world,'
