【 late-night study session 】

naeun woke up out of a dreamless sleep, feeling refreshed and well-rested. she rolled over in bed, and as she did she recalled the events of the previous night. she had finally spent time alone with jaemin, as they had walked back to her dorm under the bright, clear, and beautiful moonlight. she could still remember every detail of the walk, and she couldn't help but smile slightly as she relived the memory in her mind.

naeun got out of bed, feeling energized and revitalized after the peaceful night of rest that she had just received.

she quickly got dressed and headed outside, as she had plans to meet her friend, yeona, at their favorite café. she was looking forward to their meeting, since yeona was a good friend and had been very supportive of naeun throughout her time at university.

naeun quickly spotted yeona as she walked into the busy café, and she immediately shouted her name.

"yeona! look over here!" she called out.

yeona turned her head toward her voice, and she quickly spotted naeun near one of the tables. she gave a friendly wave, and then came over to where naeun was sitting.

yeona quickly sat down next to naeun, as she excitedly asked about their project.

"so, did you two finally have a breakthrough? i heard that your research was completed and submitted."

naeun smiled, as she confirmed that they had, indeed, completed their research. but she also had other things on her mind, having recently spent time with jaemin and experiencing some very unexpected encounters...

yeona continued to talk, and she brought up something that surprised naeun. she started talking about a recent gossip that she had heard.

"i heard that jaemin is dating someone. is it true?"

naeun felt completely caught off guard, as she had heard no such news. she felt slightly uneasy, not knowing whether to believe yeona or not, and she was also wondering if the gossip had any truth to it...

yeona continued to talk, and she was full of gossip about jaemin.

"yeah, i heard that his new girlfriend is in the class right next to ours."

naeun was suddenly feeling overwhelmed by the news and by feeling a surge of jealousy. she hated to see jaemin with someone else, and she couldn't help but wonder what this new girl was like and what made her so special that jaemin would choose her over naeun...

yeona went on to tell more details about jaemin and his new girlfriend, as she claimed that their relationship seemed to be quite secretive and low-profile.

"i heard that jaemin is with this new girl, but it's all very lowkey. they never seem to be too public with their relationship. i guess jaemin is still a bit mysterious, as usual..."

naeun felt her gut twisting in knots, as she felt more jealous and upset by the news of jaemin's relationship.

naeun tried to remain strong and calm, as she tried to reassure herself and yeona that the gossip wasn't worth listening to.

"look, don't worry about those rumors. it doesn't matter if it's true or not. i'm sure jaemin's just being secretive because he doesn't want everyone in our class to know that he's dating someone. maybe he's just trying to protect his girlfriend's privacy..."
