This is the story of how Draco... died. Don't worry! This will actually be a very fun story. The truth it, it isn't even that much about him, this is the story of a girl.. a girl yes, you! This story starts with the sun.
Once upon a time, a single drop of sunlight fell from the heavens. From this small drop of sun, grew a magic, golden flower. This golden flower had the ability to heal the sick and injured.
The flower went unnoticed for centuries. A boat ride away, there grew a kingdom. The kingdom was ruled by a loving king and a loving queen.. your parents. The queen, she was about to have a baby. She got really, really sick. She was running out of time. At this point, people started to look for a miracle. They knew of the rumours of the golden flower and went searching for it.
Everyone was unaware that a very.. very old woman named Mother Gothel had been hoarding the Sun's gift, using its powers to keep her young for hundreds of years. All she had to do was sing a special song.
Flower gleam and glow, let your power shine.~
Make the clock reverse, bring back what once was mine, what once was mine.~Before mother Gothel knew it, guards from the castle managed to find the flower. They took it to heal the queen. A healthy baby girl was born with beautiful, shiny? H/C hair. That's you, indeed. To celebrate your birth, your parents launched a flying lantern into the sky. Their life was perfection.. until that all ended..
You see, your parents kept your crib near the castle window. That way they could see your beautiful little face in the moon light. They left the window open to give you some fresh air during the hot summer nights.
While you were asleep in your crib, mother Gothel managed to find you. She sneaked into your room and grabbed some strands of your hair. With that.. she also got a pair of scissors.
'Flower, gleam and glow, let your powers shine, make the clock re----' She started singing as she cut off a strand of your hair.
When she looked at the hair it had turned dark and had completely lost its power. That's when she decided to steal you. The kingdom searched and searched.. but they couldn't find the missing Princess.. for deep into the forest, mother Gothel was raising you as a child of her own.
Deep into a tower she had locked you up. Far from the ground. You couldn't jump out and you couldn't leave.. at least not through the door. It was always locked. The key unable to be found. The door unable to be opened. Sealed shut forever.
Up in the tower, mother gothel brushed your hair every day. Harvesting it's power. Keeping her young.
'...save what was lost, bring back what once was mine, what once was mine.~"
Gothel had found her new magic flower. But this time she was determined to keep it hidden.
'Why can't I go outside?' You had questioned many times.
'The outside world is a dangerous place. Filled with horrible, selfish people. You must stay here, where you're safe. Do you understand, flower?'
'Yes, Mommy.'
But the walls of that tower could not hide everything. Each year on your birthday, the King and Queen released thousands of lanterns into the sky in hope that one day, their lost Princess would return..

[18 Years Later]
You shoved the curtains of your tiny towers aside as a surprise attack.
'HAH! Hmm, Well... I guess Pascal's not hiding out here.' You sighed.
Pascal was your chameleon friend that started to join you in the tower. You were playing hide and seek. What he didn't know was that you had already spotted him behind the flower pot.
You never saw anything else but this tower. You were stuck here all day. You had everything you needed though. A bed room, the kitchen, bathroom, books, paints.. everything. Being stuck in a place for that long made you know every secret. Pascal always stood out to you ad an oddity during hide and seek. You snatched Pascal up with your hair and put him on the window sill.
(Pascal chuckles, then Rapunzel's hair snatches him up. He shrieks.)
'GOTCHA!!! That's twenty two for me. How about twenty three, out of forty five?'
Pascal turned to you and shook his head.
'Okay, well, what do you want to do?'
Pascal pointed his tail outside. He wanted to explore beyond the tower with you. You wished you could. You couldn't even tell anyone what grass felt like, smelled like. You had no idea how sand felt, stone pavement.. nothing.
'Yeah, I don't think so. I like it in here and so do you.'
Pascal pouted at you.
'Oh, come on Pascal, it's not so bad in there. Yes all days are the same.. but that's called structure!'
You walked inside and grabbed your broom.
'7a.m. the usual morning lineup, starting the chores I sweep 'til the floors all clean.'
You out your mop away and started working on the rest of your chores.
'Polish and wax, do laundry and mop and shine up. Sweep again, and by then it's like 7:15.'
You were getting quick at this. You grabbed a few books from the book shelves.
'So I'll read a book, or maybe two or three.. I'll add a few new paintings to my gallery. I'll play guitar, and knit, and cook and basically. Wonder when will my life, begin.'
You sat down at the table in the kitchen. Pascal joined you as you went through your entire schedule again.
'Then after lunch, it's puzzles, and darts and baking. Paper-mache , a bit of ballet, and chess. Pottery, and ventriloquy, candle making. Then I'll stretch, maybe sketch. Take a climb, sew a dress, and I'll re-read the books. If I have time to spare, I'll paint the walls some more, I'm sure there's room somewhere.'
You sighed and got up. You headed towards the kitchen and grabbed your brush. You hair had grown to be a million meters long.
'And then I'll brush, and brush, and brush, and brush my hair. Stuck in the same place I've always been. And I'll keep wondering, and wondering, and wondering... Wondering, just when will my life begin?'
You sighed and headed over to the window while brushed your hair. Tomorrow was your birthday. Another birthday stuck inside. Going outside was all you wanted to get for your birthday.
'Tomorrow night, the lights will appear. Just like they do on my birthday, each year. What is it like out there, where they glow? Now that I'm older. Mother might just let me go..'
