Sorry this is so short

They had only been sat down for a matter of minutes before the bombs began to rain down. Even deep underground cracks began to show in the ceiling and the bunkers shook viciously. Effie put her head on Haymitch's shoulder and closed her eyes.

"How longs this going to last?" She asked.

"Until the Capitol gets bored I imagine." Haymitch replied

"I want to go home." She said with a sigh.

"I won't let you go back there sweetheart, not after everything it took to get you here." He responded.

"Be careful Haymitch, people will think your starting to become attached to me." She joked, opening her eyes and smiling at him for the first time since they'd been in the bunker

"You wish." He said with a smirk.

Another bomb hit the bunker causing everything around them to shake. Haymitch absentmindedly pulled Effie closer to him. The women may be a nuisance but he couldn't bare anything to happen to her.

"We should probably try and find Katniss." Effie said concerned.

"She'll be with her mother and Prim, she doesn't need us." He said playing with a strand of her hair.

"Fine, but don't blame me if she wonders where we are." She huffed.

Haymitch smiled to himself. For a moment everything felt back to normal - as normal as it had ever been anyway.
