"Come on!"

"Neon!"

Tempus had grew so big that he was the size of a 20 story building. He broke the whole building while doing so. The building was flying around in parts around the vortex.

They ran to an alleyway.

"Okay. Homeboy is pretty much not keeping up with what we agreed upon." Patty said.

Tempus walked onto a car and it exploded.

"What part of "small and friendly" did he not understand?"

"Oh! What do we do now?"

"We gotta go back there. We've got to shoot directly in the portal with more power. If we can do that, we might be able to cause a reverse reaction. We gotta cross the streams."

"Wait, wait, wait. You mean that thing you were talking about that's so powerful that will make all of our atoms implode?"

"No, implode is the wrong word. It'll be more violent than that. We gotta cross 'em up, and we've got an extremely good shot at pulling all the ionized ecto-matter back into the dimension of its origin."

"So, on the plus side, we save the world. And on the negative side, we experience the most painful death conceivable of all time."

"Yeah. It's hard to shine that penny, but yeah."

"Okay. Let's do it."

"Attagirl. Okay, let's go. Go, go, go."

While this was happening, Tempus was roaming Boston breaking buildings and such.

The team arrived back at the center of the vortex, basically a portal.

"All right, fire 'em up."

They all combined their energy but it didn't work..

"Ahh! The portal's too strong. We still don't have enough power to reverse it."

"Yo, what about that nuclear thing on top of the car?" Patty asked.

"If we can get those reactors super-critical inside the vortex, the beta radiation could 180 the polarity."

"Causing a total protonic reversal. It's gonna turn that portal into a giant figure trap. You are a genius, Patty."

"I'm a Figure Hunter."

"All right, let's narrow his path. Aim for the silver canisters."

They all shot at the nuclear reactor...

"..."

The figure inside the car flew up, and went back down as the reactor exploded in the portal.

"It's working!

The portal was sucking back in all the figures. Tempus approached.

"..."

"He's too strong. We can't let the portal close with him still here."

"All right, let's loosen his grip."

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

They all shot at a very specific spot. You can figure that out yourself.

"Yo, that's where you wanted us to shoot, right?" Patty asked.

"Yes. Look out!"

"Zephyr!"

Tempus grabbed Zephyr.
