Cut Dialogue

Yeah so self explanatory. Dialogue that I was gonna use but I replaced it. There's not much cut surprisingly but they do exist in some parts.

We start with the first one. This is the part where the team is exiting the room but the mayor locked them in.

Original:

"On that horrifying note, thank you all so much for coming. Call the number listed on the card if you have any more info. When it comes to these figures, we'll take it from here. The US government doesn't need the help of hobbyists, okay? So go back upstairs to your little dim sum tea party, okay? And leave it to us. We're the big dogs."

"Hey, come on, man."

The door was locked they couldn't get out.

"Unlock it. Unlock it. Okay, wait. Hold on. Open the window up."

They finally got out, rushed to the car and headed back to the lab.

"Man what an asshole they are trying to lock us in."

"We're watching you!"

Cut dialogue:

"Unlock it. Unlock it. Okay wait hold up, open the window."

They finally got out, rushed to the car and headed back to the lab.

"Meatheads. Jeez. You think they got genitals in there? Or is it more of a Ken doll situation?"

"I'm go with Ken doll situation. It's smooth."

"We're watching you!"

The second one is after X' big test.

Original:

"You know, these "Baloo Laboratory" people are a panic.. in a sad grab for fame. It's fine. People can be rest assured that they are fake."

"Man sometimes TV annoys me."

"Hey, guys, I've been meaning to ask, what was that thing that threw that man out the window one hour ago?" Jacob asked.

"Jacob, it was a figure."

"A figure?"

"Do you not know what goes on here, Jacob?"

Cut dialogue:

"You know, these "Baloo Laboratory" people are a panic.. in a sad grab for fame. It's fine. People can be rest assured that they are fake."

"Man sometimes TV annoys me."

"Damn.  Aw, my acid."

X dropped his hydrochloric acid.

"It's okay. I'll get it. I'll get it."

"Be careful."

"Hey, guys, I've been meaning to ask, what was that thing that threw that man out the window an hour ago?" Jacob asked.

"Jacob, it was a figure."

"A figure?"

 "Do you not know what goes on here, Jacob?"

"Okay, I've got it. We sell the house, we can get a new lab!"

"No. Your stepping in the acid."

"Damn not my feet."

"Get the baking soda. There you go, that's how you clean hydrochloric acid."

"Oh god it stinks."

This last one is during the confrontation of Tempus.

Original:

"When these barriers are destroyed, an army of the black figure army will return to pester the living."

"Pester the living doesn't sound so bad."

"They will return to pester the living with unspeakable pain and torment. Children will be pestered limb from limb in front of their own parents. The parents will be pestered in half and pestered in half again."

"And pestered into the ground until their bloody, pulpy bodies are nothing but meat."

"That's a different, uh, definition of "pester" than what I was thinking."

Cut dialogue:

And that's it! Not much was really cut. I've been saving this since the first cut dialogue but then I forgot to publish this once the book finished.

Also I haven't forgotten about HoB 3.
