'LONG DISTANCE'

Jungkook sighed in frustration.
"Baby," he tried again, seeing you frown at him over the video call. "I love you, but you're being a bit silly right now."
You huffed, refusing to meet his eye as you gazed away from your phone. "Don't call me silly. I'm not a toddler."
Jungkook sighed again. He should have known there was no point arguing with you.
It had been three months, now, since the pair of you had left the island. Jungkook had been hopeful and yet quietly apprehensive; he had never been in a long distance relationship before, and as much as you had reassured him that you were all in, deep down he was afraid you might panic again.
But you hadn't. You'd both slipped into the boyfriend and girlfriend routine like you were made for it.
Thankfully, your job allowed you to work from home quite a bit, so when you weren't required in Daegu, you were often in his apartment in Seoul. Your time apart was difficult, but you made it through, and Jungkook had been pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to be with someone, when you loved them enough to make it work.
It had been blissful, being your boyfriend for the last three months.
But not now.
Now, you were angry - and, Jungkook suspected, a few days away from your period, a time when you were known to get a bit crabby. Not that he blamed you for it - but he knew you liked to pick a fight around this time of the month.
And the fight this month was about Han Sohee, the actress hired to star in his latest music video.
"I'm just saying," you continued now, with only a bite of annoyance in your voice. "That she's very beautiful."
"Yes," Jungkook nodded, holding his phone steady. "She is. It doesn't change my answer."
You tutted, rolling your eyes at him, making the blood boil in his veins. "That's crazy. She's so hot even I wanna take her clothes off," you shot back.
Jungkook could have choked on his own spit. The thought of you taking Sohee's clothes off was actually mildly arousing, but he knew instinctively that he shouldn't voice that thought.
