"Sweetie! I didn't think you'll be here until like twelve." Her mom said. "Mom, tell me now what is going on?" Jackie was curious and furious. "It's grandma. She's sick again. But even worse this time. She was coughing and kept on coughing, until she was coughing up blood." Jackie's face went white. Her grandma was her life, her soul, her best friend. She told her grandma everything. "Wait, what? Where is she?" Kristen said. Jackie went speechless so Kristen did the talking for her. "She's in the truck, we have to hurry inside so they can take her. David, take them to the hospital and meet us there. We'll be going now." Her mom said. "Alright ma'am. Good luck." David said. Her dad was already in the truck and her mom followed soon after. Jackie did not want to get in a car with David, neither did Kristen. Then a taxi pulled up, "What's going on? One minute I see all of you at the party and at the next minute you leave me?" It was Zach. He stopped talking and payed the taxi "Thanks man, have a good one." The taxi driver said and rode off. "Long story, we have to go to the hospital quick, I'll tell you what happened in the car." Kristen was always controlling any terrible situation. Jackie was still white, she didn't move. The ambulance left by now but you can still hear the sirens going off, fading into the air. "No." Jackie shud a tear, then another, then another. She was now fully crying but she still stood there. Kristen pulled Jackie into the car, "We're going. Don't worry." Now, they were all in the car, no time for seat belts, no time for thinking, no time for anything. It was just them and grandma.
