"What do you want?" Jackie nastily said. It was Zach. "David told me." "Told you what." "About what happened last night." Jackie could feel her heart pounding, her hands were getting sweaty, and she could barely speak. "Wha-What happened last night?" Jackie said, shivering. "That his girlfriend broke up with him and you gave him some advice. Thanks. He's much better." Jackie felt her muscles loosening up again. "Is that all he told you?" Jackie was wondering. "Yeah, why? Did anything else happen?" Zach was a little confused. "No, that's exactly what happened. That was all." She was off the hook.
Then, she jolted to her grandma's room to hear her grandma coughing very loudly. "Abuela! Guess what happened?" Jackie was so excited to tell her grandma all the details about last night. "What happened mi niña?" Grandma said following with another loud cough. Are you okay abuela? You seem sick." Jackie was worried. She didn't want her grandma to be sick again. "I'm fine. Tell me what happened!" "Well, last night, David and I kissed." Jackie was kind of regretting telling her grandma this because her grandma followed with a shocked look. "Aye mi niña, finally he realized how perfect you two are together! You guys will make the cutest couple! Just be careful, Zach is very protective over you. Even though he doesn't seem like he is, he really is." "Okay abuela, thank you." Jackie walks out of her grandma's room and she sees David "Hey! Just the girl I've been looking for!" "Oh hey David. What's up?" She was so nervous. She used to never get nervous around him. "Well, since you're almost a freshmen in high school and you want to go to Zach and I's school, I wanted to invite you to this high school party. You can invite a friend but I was wondering if maybe, you would want to go with me?" Jackie felt her muscles tightening again. "Me? In a high school party? You know... Why not? Send me the invitation and I'll be there." She got out her phone and started texting.
