who on earth could be calling me in the early morning?

i groaned, rolling around my bed in order to reach my phone on the night stand. i answered the call without even bothering to look at the contact name. "hello?" i said, sleepily.

"did i wake you?" a male voice.

"you most certainly did."

"it's 1pm, tiana." oh gosh. will.

"what? oh no. how did i sleep this long?" i rambled.

will chuckled from the other end of the phone call. "relax, tiana. you went to sleep late, it's fine," he reassured.

"i did. right. uh, anyway, did you need something?" i asked, remembering that his call probably served a purpose.

"oh, yes. actually, i was calling because we're gonna head out soon, and i assumed you were asleep so, ultimately, i called to wake you up," will explained.

"oh, got it. thank you for remembering me," i said, giggling, my voice still sleepy.

"how could you be forgotten?" okay! blushing again! somehow, i regained the ability of speech.

"you tell me."

"you can't." a pause. "be at the lobby in half an hour, yeah?"

my breath was stuck in my throat. "yeah," i managed to reply, before hanging up.

my first instinct was to text liam.

liam <3

what you doing when the lead singer of the band you're working for tells you that you can't be forgotten?

tiana. soles.

i laughed when he immediately called me. we stayed on call, me filling him in on everything while getting ready. the weather wasn't too warm today, so i settled on a white sweater and black pants. i did my usual eyeliner and some light makeup, before going to the lobby.

"hello, sleeping beauty," mark greeted me when i spotted them lounging on some couches.

"leave me alone," i shot back, jokingly, to which he laughed. i quickly went over to the girls. "did you wake up early or something? why am i the only one getting attacked?"

"joe had dragged us out of bed. he felt bad doing it to you too, though," zoe explained.

"it's the thought that counts, i guess," i said, causing us to laugh.

london was everything i remembered. rainy streets, busy people, tourist attractions. and the feeling that you were gonna suffocate. i can't say i didn't enjoy my time there, especially since i was accompanied by great people. i had my small travel camera with me. i wanted to capture the whole tour experience and look cool doing it. said camera was in front of my face, as i was taking photos of the big ben. yes, we turned into classic tourists. who wouldn't? although, not all of us were considered tourists. i snapped a photo when i noticed zoe with her phone out, taking pictures of everyone. i pointed my camera at her, her doing the same, taking photos on our respective cameras.

when we were all done with taking photos of the biggest tourist attractions, we decided to walk around in order to find a coffee place. we were walking, everyone talking amongst themselves. i noticed that will was quiet, so i caught up with him. "so," i started, once i was walking next to him. "will you give us the great london tour?" he chuckled at that.

"sure. what do you want to see?" i thought for a moment.

"what's your favourite place here?" he absentmindedly kept his gaze in front of him, as he walked, thinking about my question.

"there's a park i used to go to," he suggested.

"a park sounds nice. should we grab coffee and go there?" i suggested, eager to see will's favourite place in his former home city.

"sounds good," he agreed, smiling. we then told the others and they agreed as well. we soon found a coffee shop and after acquiring our coffee, made our way to the park.

the park that will had brought us to was, in one word, big. there were many good spots, occupied by couples, groups of friends, families. trees surrounded the area, which made the place feel like a breath of fresh air in a huge city. we settled on the ground underneath a big tree, even though it wasn't actually sunny.

"so?" will asked me as soon as we sat down. he sat next to me, zoe on my other side. "it's so nice. it's like we can finally breathe, right?" he fixed me with a look of adoration in his eyes. "that's exactly why i like it."

"oh," i mumbled, staring into his eyes. it's crazy how a simple colour, such as brown, can be so beautiful. my breath was stuck in my throat again. i had no idea why i was so affected simply by the fact that i shared a thought with will. it should be nothing. it shouldn't make my heart race.

"we should've brought our guitars," joe said, taking will out of his trance. just like that, our little moment was lost. "yeah, man. definitely next time."
