chapter 2: reunited again

I was making my way through the forest. Jumping from branch to branch. The only sounds made from the leaves and wind, the wind clinging to your body giving it a nice sensation of cold. It was pretty peacefull ya know, after fighting in the war en ending up in alaycra this does feel good.

'Why can't you just make portal to the slave traders?, if i'm correct you can still make portals' Regis asked, breaking my little enjoyment from the wind.

'We can put that theorie for the test another time, but now I can't make a portal to tess because I only know the way to her not the exact location' I answered Regis, still jumping from branch to branch

'bummer, i'm gonna sleep then since I got nothing better to do' Regis said before cutting of our mental link.

after some time I heard a voice coming from below, I stopped to see who it was."hey, did you set her in the carriage like I asked?" the bulky man asked some other shorter guy.

"I did, she will fetch us much coins right? she is a young female girl who probably is still a virgin" the shorter answered with a perverted smile on his face. seeing this I wanted to step in, to kill them, so I ofcourse did by jumping of the branch I was stending on. I was confident that I could easily take them on.

'WHOOO! BADASS ENTRY!!!' Regis screamed inside of me, making me deaf for a second.'weren't you sleeping?' I asked him 'I woke up a minute ago' he thought back to me. I sighed before
I looked up at the slave traders right in their eyes. they lookad at eachother before turning to me and giving me that same perverted smile.'are they gay or something?' Regis interrupted the moment. I chuckled at his remark."Kid, what are you laughing about?" the bulky man asked me, a little confused why I was laughing in this situation.

"don't worry nothing important, after all you will be dead soon" they both started laughing after I said that."BAHAHAHA, Brat you killing us? don't make me laugh" the bulky man said barely holding his laughter

'already did' Regis making another remark. I conjured both the slave traders feet stuck to the ground. I dashed to the both of them slashing their necks with one smooth slash. hearing the other two slave traders come to the scene. one from te left, the other on the right. I took the one the right. I dashed to him, trying to slash him in his right, but he parried. I kicked him in is abdomen. I activate thunderclap impulse and dashed to him again. I send a small blue fire ball at him  but he dodged it. he looked around trying to see where I was. only to notice me behind him. I slashed his back before he could react, ending him. Regis was busy with the other one, because he was still a wisp the only thing what he could do was float around him, this was still enough however because the last slave trader was to busy trying to kill Regis, giving him al his attention. I crept behind him and then stabbing him in his hart.

"I guess you were right, this was really easy" Regis said after looking at the corpses laying on the ground."I looked at him before saying " you did nothing you know that?"

"I was there for distraction and emotional support" he answered before floating back into my body.

Before I went to see Tess I quickly hid the corpses. After that I went to the carriage and there I saw her scared and anxious. Looking at me in horror, scared of what I might do to her.

I wanted to hug her, tell her dat i'm sorry for what happend. Her body being taken over by cecilia, her parents dying, but I couldn't this hadn't happend in this timeline and I will not let it happen.

"Don't worry I won't Hurt you" I said while cutting the ropes that were tying her arms and legs together

"I'm arthur and you are?" I asked her, I already knew her name, but it would be less suspisious if I just asked for her name.
