Chapter 8

I wore a long black dress that hugged every curve of my body. The back exposed my whole back and there was a slit on the left leg all the way up to my thigh. I wore black wedges and put my hair half up, half down in curls. My makeup was done the best it's ever been. And I was proud of myself. I feel like I really looked like a luna.

When I walked out of the bathroom, Angel was laying on our bed. He looked up at me and let out a whistle. I laughed and said, "do you think I look good enough?" He looked at me like I was crazy and said, "you look a little too good."

I smirked and slapped his arm. He went into the bathroom and took a shower while I cleaned up our room a little. The bed was made, the floor was vaccummed, and the bedside dressers were cleared off of all Angels dishes.

This wolf was a pig. But he was also a man and men are definitely dirty. (Yes, I'm sneak dissin lol) finally, I was just in the body length mirror, over looking my outfit.

I was so nervous. I was being announced Luna of this pack when all I ever knew of this pack was to hate it. What if they don't like me because I'm from the opposite pack? Would I have any friends? Ugh, I needed my mom.

I heard the door to the bathroom open and Angel walked out in only a towel. I couldn't help but stare as the towel clung low on the V of his hips. His abs and chest dripping with water from his shower. I swear my mouth watered a bit.

He walked towards me and I immediately held my hands out. "I don't think so! You're wet and my outfit is finally perfect. Stay away from me until you are fully clothed," i whined. He laughed and said, "you're such a buzz kill, babe!" I kissed his cheek and sat on the bed as he got dressed.

He wore black 501's and a black button up with some white Cortez's. I smiled to myself. He was so cute and I was so thankful.

He came to me and pulled me up into his arms, planting soft kisses all over me. "Don't be nervous, Alexis, I promise I'll be right by your side and everything will be perfect," he said as he tucked one of my curls behind my shoulder. I smiled and said, "okay, Angel, I trust you."

"Are your ready," he asked me. I nodded and he took my hand and lead us down to the backyard. The sun was setting and the backyard had to be at least 6 acres of land. There was 2 pools and a bunch of food. Everyone was staring as we stepped out into the porch. I took a deep breathe and Angel pulled me to his side and wrapped his arm around my waist.

He kissed my shoulder and whispered in my ear, "relax." I straightened up and put on a regal smile. He smirked and said, "that's my girl." Almost immediately, people came up to us and introduced themselves, bowing their heads in respect to me and Angel. That would take some getting used to.

I smiled and tried to memorize everyone's names, but there was so many people. I was getting anxious. And Angel could tell because he ordered everyone to just go have fun amongst themselves, and they did.

"Are you ready for your surprise," he asked me, once we were standing by ourselves. "I don't know," I laughed. He smiled and said, "you'll love it, baby girl." Then he whistled and out of the trees came my mother, Enrique, alpha Steel, Luna Beth, and 7 pack warriors.

My heart stopped and I looked from my old pack to Angel. "Surprise," he smiled. I jumped into his arms and hugged him so tight. And as soon as he let go I ran straight into my mothers arms.

"Oh my baby girl," she squealed and held me close, "I've missed you so much!" "I've missed you too, mama," I smiled as she kissed my cheek.

Enrique stood beside her and I went to hug him, but Angels arms caught my waist. "I would appreciate the male contact be kept to a minimum," Angel said looking directly at Enrique. I eyes Angel and Enrique glared at him.
