soooo i've decided that i am done with capital letters so yeah say goodbye to proper grammer. there is also a reference to another solangelo fanfic.this is also super short but anywayyyy enjoy the chapter my friends!!

"Oh, well, funny thing about that is-" and then he darted. nico ran towards a nearby field blushing furously and laughing hysterically. expectedly, will chased after him yelling threats jokingly. nico just kept running and running to the sunny grassy lilac field until he inevitably ran out of breath. will had already immediately caught up with him since he was incredibly annoyingly fit, which caused him to crash into the other boy. 

they were both dragged to the ground but one another until will had nico pinned under him and they were both face-to-face. nico's face turned red, his eyes wide. will grinned, "you're not getting away that easil-" his sentence was cut of by nico kicking his knee directly into the other boys' groin causing will to fall over onto his side. nico jumped up while will lay curled of in a ball on the ground rolling around and groaning. "ha" was all nico said. "ugh!! you- you-" will tried to think up a quick insult but his mind was blanking. "you egg!"

  nico hesitated for a moment have been taking a second to process the insult but he brushed it off considering will always said weird things. for a split second his mind went back to when he was barfing in the bathroom and will had comforted him, and he had gotten all flustered and stuttery. then his brain took a dark turn like it usually did. he saw images of being left by so many people. bianca, his mother, the stranger he had fallen in love with but they didn't feel the same. then being sent to countless foster homes and running away just to end up back with his father who didn't give a shit about him. no one cared. no on loved him. only a handful of people once did, but they were all gone now. now h was alone. let to rot alone for the rest of- "c'mon guys, everyone's at the lake! if you two don't hurry up any time soon you will be forgotten and left to the wolves!" 

will and nico both shot up and squinted to see a small figure in the distance with a head of dark curly brown hair. "we're coming, leo!" they said in unison, followed by an eruption of giggles and the two racing one another to go get changed into bathing suits.

nico could hardly contain himself as will came out of the camper after changing into swimming shorts he had borrowed from percy. his ripped tan torso was bare and he couldnt stop staring. nicos'  terrible sensitive skin resulted in him to throw on some black shorts and an oversized black tee with a dark bucket hat. most of his pale skin was covered with an excessive amount of sunscreen. as soon as will saw his outfit he stifled a laugh and smirked at him. "what the flipping freak flying flop are you wearing?" He laughed. nico buried his face in his hands, then looked back up at will. "the fuck did you just say?" he tilted his head like a puppy at will. "how can you look so innocent while swearing like a sailor?" Will asked. "

just shut up and let's get this over with." "yup, shutting up captain di angelo!" nico rolled his eyes and began walking towards the lake where the others were. leo had already abandoned them even though he said that he would stay. the little bastard. Will followed closely behind, soon jogging up right by nicos' side like a fucking golden retriever.

once they arrived to the sany beach area by the lake will immediately ran towards the water. nicos' eyes fell onto percy. he looked so familiar. acted so familiar. nico still couldn't put a finger on it. everyone was in the water except piper who was sitting in a shadowy spot under a tree in the sand. nico decided that looked like a comfortable spot to chill out, and Piper seemed like an okay person. he stepped towards her. piper looked up from her book and smiled at nico sweetly and patted the spot on her towel next to her. nico sat down and pulled his knees to his chest, resting his chin on his knee cap. nico looked at the water and took in the scene. percy was having a water fight with leo, annabeth on his back laughing. frank and hazel stood on the sand by the water, writing their initials in the sand circled by a larger heart with using a stick. Will jumped into the water fight. if nico said he wasn't staring he would be lying. piper nudged his arm, "quit ogling, nico.  jump in with them." Piper smirked.
