Chapter 1 - The Same Neighborhood

A few days later...

Location - Chihaya Residence, Anon's Room

Anon's POV

After moving back into Japan, I've been staying home trying to get used to everything around here, and starting Monday, I'll be making a fresh start as a first year student at Haneoka Girls Academy.

It might feel good to be back here, but I am still worried about running into some of my old classmates from middle school. No no, I shouldn't be thinking about that right now.

I walked over to my bedroom window and looked outside to see what the weather was like. Well, it's not so bad.

"Maybe I should go for a walk, and learn how to get to Haneoka from here." I said to myself, and that's what I'm going to do.

A few hours later...

Location - The Park

During my walk, I managed to complete my goal by finding Haneoka, and knowing how to get there from my house. Sure, I'll have to take the train part of the way, but at least I won't have to walk very far.

As I continue walking around, something caught my attention, and my heart skip a beat. It was (Y/N). I had no idea he lived in my neighborhood. Nervously, I began to make my way over towards him.

"Hi there, (Y/N)-kun." I said.

He looked over and smiled at me.

"Oh, hi. Anon, right?" He asked. Aww, he remembers my name.

"Yeah, that's right." She smiled.

"It's good to see you again." (Y/N) said. "Do you live around here?"

"Yeah, I live at the end of the block, and I take it this is your house?" She asked.

"Yeah, this is my home alright."

This feels like a dream come true... First I met him at the airport, and now I find out that he lives in the same neighborhood as me? Could this get any better?

"So, I guess this means that we live near each other, huh?"

"Yeah, I guess so."

"Hey, (Y/N)-kun, is it okay if I asked you for your phone number?" I asked as I didn't waste anytime in pulling out my phone.

I thought I was being weird for a moment, but (Y/N) simply smiled at me.

"Sure. It's always nice to make a new friend, right?"

He took my phone and put his phone number into it, and once he gave it back to me, I was becoming overwhelmed by the amount of happiness that just hit me.

"Thanks (Y/N)! I hope I get talk to you soon!"

"Yeah, me too."

And with that, I walked away with the biggest smile I have ever made. I can't wait to get to know (Y/N) better. But at the same time, I have to be careful since I know he has a girlfriend that loves him a lot.

An hour later...

Location - (L/N) Residence, (Y/N)'s Room

Your POV

I was in my bedroom studying for an upcoming exam at my school. While texting, I received a few text messages from Anon. She's doing her best to get to know me, and to be honest, it was nice of her to do so.

After all, my parents are too busy with work to talk to me, and my girlfriend... Well, we are starting to become distant lately, and she doesn't say what she's doing either. While studying, Anon brought this up with me.

Anon's text: Do you think I'll survive my first day at Haneoka Girls Academy on Monday?

I took a moment to respond to her.

Your text: I think you got nothing to worry about. Just be yourself, and everything will be fine.

She eventually responded.

Anon's text: I hope so. Thanks for the words of encouragement. :)

Your text: Yeah, no worries.

Anon stopped responding after that, and I went back to studying. I just hope she'll be okay at her new school.
