things were better now — well not everything and not all the time but it's still progress
viviana managed to try and tolerate jeremiah in front of people, just so that this could be over faster.
a part of viviana didn't want it to be over, because that would make her beliefs right, belly really used cam.
it was all viviana could think of, especially when she stood there in front of camʼs house waiting for someone to open the door for her
denise opened the door with a smile "viviana" the woman held a smile on her face
"hey" viviana smiled shyly as denise immediately pulled the girl in a hug
"i don't see you for a year and you turn into a model?" camʼs mom complimented the girl as she smiled brightly at her
as the two stood together catching up briefly, deniseʼs phone started ringing making her sigh "i am late"
deniseʼs face was apologetic as she looked at the girl "cam is in his room" the older brunette said as she walked out of the house letting viviana make her way to the boy's room
viviana knocked but cam never told her to come in, so she waited for three minutes until she opened the door thinking the boy was simply asleep
but cam wasn't even in his room
and he didn't answer the texts viviana sent asking where he was either
so viviana was driving back home when her phone started ringing, as she read the caller ID she sighed but answered anyway
"hey" viviana said in a sweet voice as jeremiah laughed on the other side if the call
"it's still funny hearing you pretend to be nice" jeremiah laughed
viviana scoffed "shut up Jeremy, I thought someone was next to you or something"
"or maybe you just like me too much" jeremiah joked as viviana rolled her eyes
"whip away the smirk jeremiah" viviana said as she parked the car in front of her house
"whatever" jeremiah coughed awkwardly "um where are you now?"
"going back home" viviana answered simply "why?"
"belly's birthday is next week" jeremiah stated
"good for her I guess" viviana sounded so confused and bored
"get her a present" jeremiah sighed
"why?"
"because it's what people do" jeremiah gritted his teeth now
"okay well get her something then" viviana sounded so unbothered for Jeremiah's liking
"i already got her a present!" jeremiah said impatiently "you still need to get her something "
