Recap: Jack walks over and we had a group hug. When we were done, my mom asked a whole bunch of questions. the last question terrified me.
"Are you going to tell your dad?" She asked.
"Oh shit!" I thought to myself.
Jack's G's P.O.V.
"How the hell am I going to explain that to my father?!" I said frustrated.
"First off, don't use that language," she said while Jack was giggling behind her back.
She looks confused about Jack laughing, but he stopped when he saw my face.
"Second, you have a special relationship with your father," she said.
"I will tell him, but not now," I said rubbing my eyes,"I'm emotional drained."
"Yeah, me too," mom said,"I'm going to go get ready."
When she walked out of the room, Jack and I took a deep breath.
"Mission accomplished," Jack said high-giving me.
My phone buzzed, I picked up and I opened to Twitter. The tweet said:
Gaylinsky admits he's gay.
Jack J's P.O.V.
"What the hell?" Jack said.
"What's up?" I said moving closer.
"Look," He said showing him my phone.
I read a tweet and my eyes widened.
"How did they know about this?" I asked.
"There was only the three of us in the room and there was no else, unless..." He trailed off.
"Unless what?" I asked confused.
"But he wouldn't," He said holding his head.
"Jack, you're scaring me," I said freaked out.
"Did you do it?" He whispers.
"Do what?" I asked scared.
"Send that tweet, you were the only one in here!" He yells.
"No, why would I do that?!" I yelled back.
"You were the only one with a phone, that mights you did this," he shouts.
He pushes me off the bed and pins me to the ground. I moved around, trying to get up, but I finally gave up.
"Admit it, you did it," he says.
"Jack, are you even listening to yourself, you accusing your best friend, since kindergarten, for spreading the same secret that you have," I said.
He tightened his grip on my wrists. I scream in pain.
"Please Jack, I would never do anything that would hurt you," I manage to say.
I felt something cracking which made me scream louder.
"Liar, you lied to me about you not cutting, when you really were," he said tears streaming down his face.
"I was afraid that I was going to hurt you if I told you," I said in pain.
"It doesn't matter, you still lied to me!" He said,"Who knows what else you could of lied about, like posting my secret on the Internet!"
"Please, Jack!" I cried.
I can tell he see the fear in my eyes because he loosened his grip. He finally let go.
"What is wrong with me?!" He cried.
I got up using my forearms and elbows.
"Nothing is wrong with you," I said smiling,"You're just scared."
"Jack, I almost broke both your wrist," he said looking at his hands," God, I'm sick!"
"I don't care about my wrist," I said moving closer," Besides, I would of done the same thing."
We both laughed.
"Besides, I can do a cool thing with my wrists now," I said putting them to his ear.
"You can crack your wrist!" He said,"Gross, but cool!"
"I know, but it still kind of hurts," I said rubbing my one of them.
Jack takes one of them and kisses it. Which made me blush and that him laugh.
"Do you want to borrow some of my clothes, as if I have to ask," he said.
"Sure," I said.
He gets up, gets the clothes, and goes to the bathroom.
"I really messed up," I thought to myself.
"No, you didn't," a voice said.
I turned around it was Jack standing in the door frame.
"Did I say that aloud?" I asked.
"Yes, yes you did," he laughs.
I stand up and hold his hand.
"You ready?" I asked.
"I don't know, this is my first time," he said nervously.
"Don't worry, it'll be fun," I said smiling.
"Alright, but your parents might hate me," he said rolling his eyes.
"One prank isn't going to kill nobody," I said walking out.
We both laughed and we walked out.
Dinner was kind of awkward, with my mom constantly looking at Jack and me. Dad started to notice and raised an eyebrow.
"Am I missing something?" He asked,"I mean why are you looking at him like that?"
"Like what?" She asked,"I can't smile at my son."
"You have a smile that is telling me that you and Jack know something and I don't," he said,"Spill it."
"We don't know anything," my mom said smiling at me.
"You know something, Jack," dad said,"Come on, you can tell me anything."
"Not everything," Jack mutters under breath.
I kicked Jack in the shin.
"Shut up," I mutter back.
"Why is that Jack?" He said getting frustrated,"Why can't you tell me anything?"
"Dad, can we please just drop it," I said.
"No, all I want to know is one thing, but you won't tell me," he said flustered,"What happened to the Jack that tells me everything when he got home from school?"
"He grew up, dad," I said in calm yet annoyed voice,"Now can we talk about something else, people are starting to stare."
"Why should I, Jack, I want to help you," he said leaning over the table.
"This is type of thing you can't help," I said angry.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"If you were home, or if you actually cared enough maybe I wouldn't be so scared to told you," I said in rage,"I need some air."
I get up and walk outside. It was oddly cold out because of the rain. The raindrops were dripping on my head when I stayed under the shade too long. I felt like the storm, out of control. I see the lightening and can hear the thunder. The lightening is like my mom, a energetic flash that can light up my darkest moments. The thunder is my dad, I don't always see him, but I can always hear him. His booming voice echoes in my ears when I talk to him on the phone or at home. I love them both, but my mom has been there for all my life when my dad has been there for only some of my life. I want to tell him, but I don't want the "thunder" crashing in my ears as he yells at me.
