Summary:

It's the day of your First Blessing Party, and you get to start it off with one hell of a gift from a very good friend.

Did... Did that demon we spoke to at Idia's place call himself the head of Devildom's navy..?" The conversation from a few days prior finally hits Vil, now that he's gotten your gift and appropriately sent it in the mail. "... What is the head of an entire realm's naval forces doing running a party for an exchange student..?"

"The trickster seems to have made quite an interesting collection of friends in such a short time." Rook grins, having already processed what Vil's currently processing. He's long-since been excited to get to meet your new friends.

"They certainly have a knack for that, don't they.." Vil muses on the idea. He'll be sure to prepare himself to the best of his presentation. Red Carpet Event level preparation. No telling the kinds of dignitaries he might be seen by.

It's the day of the party and you awaken to the early morning message of a certain sorcerer.

[Today's the day - Are you excited?]

You glance at the time on your D.D.D, and you groan, rolling to get up. Mammon and Grim had you out late. Even when you were done with your shopping for the day, Mammon kept making excuses to keep you out later and later, and Grim was encouraging it because he kept getting free food. Still, seeing how happy Grim is as you slowly get up, you can't help but to smile a little. It was nice seeing them get along. Mammon's been your partner in crime since you got here, so having your partner in crime from Night Raven get along great with him made you feel like you had a little club going.

You weren't able to get the rare material you were looking for, but you did find many other rare materials on your list. You've been building your tools and testing them out during Human Shenanigan Hour.

You text Solomon back; [Today's gonna be wild, I can already tell.]

He's pretty quick to respond, which tells you that he's been up for a bit. [Oh absolutely. Speaking of which - I have your first gift of the day.]

You grin as you start getting ready for the day, and you can hear Grim groaning from sleep as he starts to get up now that you've left a cold place on the bed. You text Solomon back; [Oh yeah? Are you sneaking in, or are we sneaking out?]

[Sneaking out. Get Grim and be ready.]

[Are we grabbing Belphegor?]

His reply text takes a few minutes as you floss and brush your teeth. You assume he's probably getting ready to come meet you at the house. [Nope. Meet me at the gate.]

You slip your D.D.D into your pocket and Grim groggily meanders into the bathroom adjacent to your shared room. "Oh man.. Yesterday was awesome.. I'm STILL in a food coma.." He grins, very satisfied with himself and all the foods he got to try.

"Well, today's probably going to come with more food."

"That's right!! Today's the big day!" He pauses and then furrows his brow. "Or.. Wait. Tomorrow? It's in the afternoon, which means it's.. 'tomorrow' in Our Realm's hours.." Grim grumbles as he tries to math out the time differences, crossing his arms. You hoist him up and head out into the hallway as he does. You grab a snack in the kitchen before going out the door to meet with Solomon at the gate.

When the sorcerer arrives, you and Grim are munching on toast. Solomon smiles big, having arrived on his broomstick. A rare sight, given that the sorcerer wasn't often one to indulge in such open displays of magic. He's wearing different clothes than usual, having dressed up for the occasion. It looks like Simeon and Luke helped him find some really nice clothes. He holds an inviting hand out to you.
