Katherines P.O.V.

01st of February, 1522
I was walking trough the woods next to our house. I was just thinking about that girl I saw three days ago. She was so pretty. I did not know if it was the right thing to stay here. I cannot get her into this life, it would be the best if I never had to see her again, even if I wanted to. And I wanted it really bad, but besides the others would be mad about it too. I kept thinking while I went to my horse just to clear my head so I could stop thinking about her. I could not allow myself to fail like that, so I rode away. But it did not work. I just had to think about her beautiful blue eyes and her brown hair who was covering her pretty face while she slept on that blanket. The sun was going down and it began to snow. It was the first time this year that it began to snow again, the grass was almost green before. I looked at the last view seconds from the sunset when I saw the horse running out from the sunlight.
"You've got to be kidding me" was what I murmured for myself because I would recognize that horse everywhere. It was her horse, I was just trying to get her out of my mind and way. But I couldn't resist, so I rid right over to that horse and got down to her.
"Where is your girl" I was asking her while I tried to calm her down. She was so upset, and I knew it was nothing good. Something happened and I could not help without helping her and knowing what happened. So I got up her horse and took mine with us while Maribel led us to her.

It was dark and I saw nothing, but I got a lantern from my house with me.
After a one hour ride I saw her lying on the field without a cape. She wore a beautiful red dress, but she must have been freezing in there.
I tried to wake her up but it was so difficult. After almost half an hour she got up and was asking for her horse. I was glad that she was okay, at least so I thought.
"You need to stop losing your horse like that" I said with a soft chuckle.
"You" was all she said, while she was smiling at me.
I could not resist smiling back at her.
Then I tried to stop myself from falling for her so I kept talking to her.
"You must have fallen hard, I found your horse one hour from here" I told her and saw how shocked she was about that information. She asked me about the time and I said it was almost nine. For a while she said nothing, but I saw some fear in her eyes when she was staring at the dark sky.
It took not long until she began to puke for the first time.
"It would not be wise to go home alone in this darkness and especially not like that" was what I realized and I was thinking about bringing her home. Then she puked for a second time.
"I don't want to..." she said with a big fear before she fell and passed out again.
I sighed, because I did not know what to do at first but then I just grabbed he and took her on my horse. Then I took Maribel and I rid back to my house with them.

Next Day
Clara's P.O.V.
I opened up my eyes and saw a different location then usual. My head was still hurting and then I remembered that I passed out yesterday. I was lying on a couch in a small house. When I saw that girl of whom I still don't know the name of, bringing me some tea.
"Good morning" she said with a smile,
"How are you feeling?" she asked me.
And I absolutely did not know what to say, I was just so happy to see her again that all of my pain just slipped away. Then I told her that my head was still hurting a bit but that I was fine.
"Thank you for helping me" I  continued.
"You would've been dead by now if I would not have found and helped you yesterday" she said and I was even more glad that she cared about me.
"You should go home now, your family is probably worried about you" she stopped smiling before saying that. And so did I.
"Yeah, you're right... but I don't even know where I am and which way I have to ride."
Then she told me that she would help me get to where she found me yesterday, but then I'd have to go alone because she did not know where I lived. I accepted with a smile and then got up and we went to our horses.
"Do you live alone?" was what I first asked her while we were riding on our horses. But she did not answer  that.
"How come that you fell off your horse yesterday?" she asked me instead. And because I am who I am, I again told her everything that happened yesterday without even thinking about it. I saw her smirking while she listened to me.
"Your life really is  a disaster" she said after I finished talking. Thats when we arrived at the field where I fell.
"Yeah, I know" was what I continued,
"Will you find your way back home now?" she asked me and I nodded.
"Thank you" was what I said again and she nodded while turning around. Then she rode away, before I remembered that I still don't know her name.
"Wait what is your na..." I realized she was gone and wouldn't hear me. So I turned around too and rode back home too.

As soon as I saw the walls from my house again, the smile I had the whole time when I was riding, was gone. I put Maribel back to the stables and gave her some food. Then Sunny was running to me and hugged me.
"There you are!" she said relieved, "I was worried something bad happened".
"Nothing could be worse than what's happening here in these walls"  Sunny sighted and agreed.
I didn't want to ask at first but then I had to;
"How is father?"
"He was mad at first, really mad, but since you did not come home tonight he began to worry and well you can think of the rest" Sunny said.
"Did he even sleep tonight?"
Sunny shook her head and I sighed.
"Great, so he is still drunk."
"Yes, he is, but you should go" she said.
I sighed again and went on my way inside.
Father was sitting in the kitchen with a few bottles of booze.
Then he saw me coming in and he walked right in front of me. He smiled shortly and kissed my cheeks.
The he looked me in the eyes and became mad again. So he hit me twice.
"Where were you, how dare you to always scare me like that" he screamed at me.
"Go to your room, and you are not allowed to leave it until I say so."
I nod and go upstairs to my room and change my dress first.
It could've been worse, but I guessed it was just for the start. If he's going to sleep now then he would do something worse as soon as he wakes up. He was too tired to punish me more.
As soon I changed my dress I sat on my desk to write a new page in my diary. I had so many things to say.

I saw her again, and it was beautiful. I was afraid to only have seen her once. But she helped me and let me in her house for one night. I still don't know her name. When I see her I just think about how pretty she is, and then I talk about myself. I don't know why I keep doing this but she's the only one who listens. And I love that. I hope I will see her again...

One hour passed by.
In that moment someone knocked at my door.
It was the maid who came inside.
"Mrs. Moonwood someone at the door did ask for you."
I wondered who could that possibly be.
So I came downstairs to see who it was. As soon
I realized who it was I smiled. It was her again, but I wondered what she was doing here.
Father smiled at me and I was surprised, I did not see him smile like that for a long time.
"You did not tell me that you fell off the horse and your friend helped you at her house" father said.
I was scared and said that I was sorry, because usually he would hit me now. But instead of doing that he smiled and thanked her for helping me.
"I would not know what I would've done if she were dead now" he said to her, then he said to me
"I am glad you found a friend like her" he said.
I was looking confused at her like what did she do.
Father was acting strange, he wasn't like that since mother died. He was so nice.
"Your friend brought your cape, you must have forgotten it there."
She kept smirking at him and smiled at me,
"Please call me Katherine" was what she said.
And I smiled at that moment , because I finally knew her name!
