The Truth

Claras P.O.V.:

The week after Clara saw Katherine killing those man at the river:

Dear Diary,
I don't know what to do. I saw something! I could not sleep for the whole week, because I am so scared and I got paranoid. I couldn't even write about it either.
It's Katherine, she is....
I don't know how to say it, anything but human!
I am so scared, I don't know what to think of it.
Did she lie to me about everything that happened? Was all of this - the past months, as I called it the best months of my life, - was it all a lie? Was it an act to get to me?
What would she have for it? I have no idea but I know I am scared and mad at the same time!
But on the other side, if she ever wanted to harm me she would have done it already.
So what now? Should I go to talk to her?
What if she kills me?

As I closed my diary and go up to Sunny's room to ask her what I should do. But she did not answer the door and when I looked inside it she was not there. I sighed and was thinking for a while. I was scared, like I said, but I was more curious than anything else. I needed answers! So I went to the stables to get Maribel and I rode down the field and forest for half an hour to talk to her.
I was almost happy to see her again and smiled a bit.
I almost forgot why I actually wanted to talk to her.

Soon I arrived at that little cottage she lived, well at least did she when I passed out before, I wasn't to sure about that anymore either. I did not now how much she lied about everything and us and how much was real. But I hoped, she would tell me that all of this was real! It cannot be a lie! I wouldn't even survive the thought of it.
I was standing at the door and waited a while, then I got myself together and then I finally knocked. I was awaiting Katherine and was smiling inside. But as soon as the door opened, it wasn't Katherine. It was someone else. I did not see her the last time I was here so I was wondering.
"Who are you?" I asked her without even introducing myself.
"I am Pearl, who are you?" Pearl answered when Anna interrupted her and stand next to her,
"Mother, who is this?"
I had even more questions now, at first I thought I had the wrong house but then I remembered I was right, and all Katherine did was lying.
When I stared at them while my eyes got a little glassy, Pearl asked me again;
"Who are you? Are you Katherine's girl?"
When I heard her name again I stopped staring and looked in Pearl's eyes.
"Where is she?" I asked with a mad voice.
"She went out into the woods for a while, why? what is wrong? I was already wondering why she wasn't at your house this week!"
Pearl said, and I heard that she was indeed concerned. But then suddenly, I remembered that I don't even know who this is. Even if she knew so much about me. She could be the same thing Katherine is, she could pretend nice and kill me every next second. I was thinking about it, because if  she really was a friend of hers as she said then why did not see her when I was at the house. I wasn't asking myself why Katherine did not tell me, because she is a liar.
"Why are you not talking?" Anna asked me.
I was looking at her, and I saw that she was almost Sunny's age, maybe a bit younger.
And I was still not talking, I got confused about all of this. Could I trust them?
"Katherine said you talk much, I don't see it" Anna continued.
"Anna, please behave!" Pearl said.
I was so overwhelmed that they knew so much about me. So I stepped back and then I ran to my horse and rode back home.

I was running to my room and crying into my pillow for hours.
Where I forgot the time. Until I heard the maid knocking on my door.
"Mrs Moonwood? Mrs Katherine is here, she asked for you" was what the maid said to me from the other side of the door.
I tried not to answer so that she wouldn't know that I was there. As the maid left to tell Katherine that I did not answer I thought Katherine would go away.
But she did not! She just went into our backyard and was calling me from my window.
"Clara, please, let me explain all of this! I won't harm you I am sorry that I scared you! You don't have be!" she said.
I was hiding behind the window to look at her.
"Why didn't you tell me about your friends? where were they when I was at your house?"  I was asking her.
"Let me in or come outside to talk! I will explain it to you!" she replied
"I so you can kill me?" I said with a decent chuckle.
"You will find out if you come here!" she said with a smirk. And I did not know if this was just another sarcastic comment from her or if she meant it.
But I needed answers, and even If they were not what I expected, I couldn't live like that before! If that means I am going to live my last moments oy there, I accepted it anyways. Because I would never have wanted the life back I had before her. Either I die or everything goes out well, but not as before her!
So I went down into the backyard to talk to her.
I was standing far away from her, close enough to hear her but not close enough that she could touch me, I was still a little scared.
But then she whooshed right infront of me and I stepped back.
"Don't touch me!" I said with a scared voice.
Katherine was smiling.
"I wasn't going to, but If you want answers you need to listen more closely and I don't want anyone else to hear the wrong words"  she said.
I looked at her first and then I nodded.
"Let's have a little walk into the woods" she said while she was going forward the forest and looked after me to come with her. I was looking at her, not knowing if I could trust her and go! But then she had that little smile on her face and I knew she wasn't going to harm me! So I went with her.
But I did not walk exactly next to her when I asked her my many questions.
"What are you?" I asked at first.
And then she laughed;
"Come in you are not that dumb, you know what I am!"
I knew it indeed, but I wanted to hear it from her because it sounded so surreal.
"A-A... vampire?" I stuttered.
That's when Katherine smirked and made a bow.
"Are you going to kill me, or did you ever plan to?" was my second question. And she chuckled a bit
"I did not even plan to meet you, but you were so lost and I couldn't leave you like that! And no I never intended to kill you at all! Even if you hate me now, I will let you live and just go away again" she answered.
"Where to?" I was thinking.
"Anywhere new" was her answer to that.
"Why?" was the next question my mouth split out, even if I didn't think about that question, because that was obvious.
So she laughed.
"Well, if you don't want me here, I will go again it is that easy, I have stayed here for too long anyways!"
I was wondering why she was here for "too long" as she said, but then I taught all vampires do that and this would be their thing to stay unknown.
"Are you the only one?" was my next question I could have simply answered by myself but I wanted to hear it all and besides, I wanted to know if I could trust her now. If she would tell me everything now!
"No, god no... there are so many of us in this whole world!" she smirked. "Pearl and Anna are too" she continued.
"Why didn't you tell me about them anyways or even what you are? I thought we were that close?" was my next meaningful question I couldn't have answered myself.
"We were!" she said and I smiled a bit.
"But, I cannot simply say; before you kiss me, I have to say that I am a monster on the run and I love it. I had to be careful about what I tell whom and when. l I suppose I missed the right timing. And about the other girls; I could not tell you either because if someone had know that we are here together it wouldn't be good. It was already dangerous that your family knows that I am here!" she continued.
"I am not someone" I replied.
"I know" she smirked
I smirked a bit too but then I got serious again;
"But if you are here in secret, why did you kill those men then? did you hear what they were saying?"
Katherine nodded.
"Not all vampire are that much hiding as I do because I have an another reason. And those men were talking about that reason. But well that's a long story I can tell you somewhen else" she meant.
"No, don't do this! I want to hear it all!" I said.
Then she started to explain that the men she killed were talking about the Orginal Vampire Niklaus Mikaelson! She told me about his curse and him wanting to be a hybrid again! She told me about the spell that has to be casts and that he needed her for it. She also explained who the Original Family is. Then she told me, that he killed her whole family for running away from him and that she is on the run from him since then. He would come after her as soon he finds out where she is. That is why she is traveling so much!
"I met Pearl and Anna on my journey and they travel with me ever since" was what she explained at last.
"I am so sorry about what you have been through." was what I answered about all of this. And I really felt sorry for her. I could understand why she was lying now.
"Katherine, yeah well it's the past and it seems like I meet great people while running so. It doesn't get boring" she said with a grin.
I chuckled.
"Wait, how old are you?"
"I am 17 or about 50 but don't call me Grandmother"
We laugh as she said that and then we stopped.
"I am glad I listened to you and that you told me everything."
I walked closer to her and took her hand, then I was looking around if someone was there and I kissed her, she accepted it and then we whooshed to a tree, while she was pushing me on it.
"Woah that's amazing" I said with a grin.
"Shh, stop talking" she smirked and kissed me again.
She started with taking my dress off while kissing me and so did I with hers.
When I opened her corset, she whooshed us to the next tree and held me in front of her.
"What was that?" I asked as she held my mouth.
"I heard something..."
