First Taste Of Blood

Clara's P.O.V:
It's been days now, since father did not hurt me again. And I loved it. I could do whatever I want now, without being afraid of him. Katherine compelled all of our maids too. So they could not interrupt us or tell our secret. Because every single day, Katherine and I had our time in my room no one was allowed to know about. Katherine tried to distract me as much as possible from thinking about Sunny and Mother. She was the one who always did it. I was so happy with her! We did so many things without being worried about who could see us and tell things. It was so simple, and now that I know her secret, it was even better than before. And father seemed more happy too, because she compelled him to stop drinking a while ago.

Months passed by and the spring of March became the Summer of July. Katherine already told me about her birthday on June, the 5th. That day we spent a picnic together, at the river again, but this time without any interruptions. That was a great day.
And now it's July 22 th.
It was Sunny's birthday. But she was not here to celebrate it. I have wondered where she went and how she's been. I was thinking about her the whole morning after I woke up. Then, Katherine came in with a tablet full of food for breakfast.
"You know it's not my birthday, right?"  I smiled.
"I know, it's for me anyways" as she laughed and ate one strawberry.
"Hey, how mean!" I laughed as I took a strawberry too. When Katherine just smirked.
"What are we doing today?" I asked.
"We could do another riding marathon" she said still smirking.
"That's not fair, you are faster than me anyways!" I said and she knew that.
"Now, chop chop, little girl. It is getting late!" Katherine said with a strict voice as I started to get up.
"Yes, grandmother" I answered as Katherine grabbed me to tickle me because she told me to not call her that.
We both laugh and then I fell into her arms and I looked at her. Then she kissed me and we started to take each others clothes off.
As we stand naked at the wall, her vampire face appears.
I got a little scared because that was the first time it happened right in front and because of me. Usually, she could control herself very good.
So I stepped back.
"Oh, forgive me. I haven't had any food today" Katherine said and smiled.
And I loved that face. I stared to smirk and I got closer to her again. Then I kissed her, while her vampire face did not disappear, but it did not bother me anymore. Because I knew she wouldn't hurt me.
So when we finally finished, Katherine helped me to put my dress on and I helped her with hers.
When we finished that too, Katherine said;
"Now, I need some blood!" as she was going out the door. I went after her.
"Wait, you can feed on me if you want to"
Katherine looked at me and smiled. Then she grabbed my neck without questioning.
As she took the first bite, it did hurt a bit but I had worse. And it was her so I was fine with it. When she started to suck the blood out of me I got very dizzy. As she finished, she got off me. At that moment I lost my balance and she held me up as I looked at her, smiling, because I thought she was hot with the blood still on her mouth. I kissed her to lick the blood away from her. She smirked but was also confused.
"Why are you licking the blood? You don't need it!"
she asked me.
"Not yet" I answered. "And I am not afraid of the taste of blood, I actually liked it"
I smirked at her. Katherine was surprised.
"That's a new side. I quite like it."
And then she smirked.
"I can show you more sides, once you turn me"
I said.
"Wait what? You want me to turn you?" Katherine replied.
"I want to run away and live an easy life, far away from here, with you, yes." was what I said and Katherine smiled.
"Well, let's go for a ride first" was what I said afterwards because I wanted to have one last enjoyable day as a human.
When we got to the stables, Pearl was standing there looking mad. She called Katherine over to her alone and I let them talk while I was fetching our horses.
I wondered what they talked about.

Katherine's P.O.V:
I was wondering why Pearl was here.
When she asked me "Why did you not tell me that the man you killed at the river, was talking about Klaus Mikaelson?"
I was surprised that she found out.
"Because I dealt with that, I killed them and buried them, so do not worry about it" was what I answered with a grin.
"You dealt with it, yes! Then, tell me, how come that the people in town talk about said men and Klaus himself?"
And my grin faded away at this exact moment.
"This can't be!" was what I just said.
"We need to leave town, immediately! Preferably today!"  Pearl said.
"I can't, not without her! Give me one day!" I said and Pearl sighed.
"She wants me to turn her, so she can come with us!" I said.
"This is not a good idea, especially not after you already turned her sister!"
I rolled my eyes. "Please, I know what I am doing! I won't leave without her!"
Pearl nodded and sighed again. Then she vamped away and I turned around with an worried face.
"What's wrong?" Clara asked me.
"I will explain later, now let's just ride for a bit" was my answer.
After that we stopped at the river, for our horses to drink some water. It was another hot summer day and I noticed, Clara was sweating in her dress. So we jumped into mentioned river and freshed ourselves up a bit.
After two hours, we arrived back at the Moonwood mansion and put our horses back into the boxes.
Then we got back in and Clara and I went into her room. Where I started to kiss her and took her dress of.
"It's wet, we need to change" was what I just said while smirking. As Clara started to smirk too.
I already took Clara's dress off her. But before she started taking off mine, she stopped.
I raised my eyebrows because I was confused.
"What? Why did you stop?" I asked her
"Turn me, now!" was what she said to me then.
"Are you sure?" I asked once more because I was surprised that she wants my blood already. When she nodded, I smirked because I thought, the earlier the better. So my vampire face showed up and I bit into my arm.
"Drink it!" I said.
She looked at me for a few seconds, she was still thinking about it.
"You need to hurry, otherwise the wound will heal soon!" I said to her and then she immediately took my arm and drank from my blood. I was smirking and my vampire face showed up once again but then it suddenly faded away because someone was knocking at the door. That's when Clara also stopped drinking the blood from me.
"Not now!" was my reaction to it while I rolled my eyes as the wound on my arm began to heal.
"Mr Moonwood said it's urgent, he wants to see you, Mrs Katherine."
I wondered what it could be and I sighed.
"I will be back soon" I said and I went out the door. Gladly, I still wore my dress.
As I was standing behind the door, the maid was holding an injection and put it into my neck. I felt that I was about to pass out and fell to the ground.
I was not able to fight against her because I wasn't prepared for this.

Clara's P.O.V.
Its been half an hour and I wondered where she could have been. So I walked out of my room and looked for her, through the whole house, to find her. But she was not in there nor in the backyard. Then I thought that she must have left and I looked for her horse. But it was still there. Then I realized that I did not look in father's office. So I ran up again to walk to his office and I looked though the keyhole.
And I saw Katherine, sleeping on his couch and father standing at his table.
He was opening a bag and it was full of wooden stakes in every form. Then he refilled his empty glass with whiskey and I remembered that Katherine compelled him not to drink.
That's when I realized that he knew the truth.
I was staring at the keyhole waiting for something to happen. I knew I should have went in to help her. But I was afraid and I did not know what to do...
