*Jamie's POV*

Three months later

I decided to go to UCLA after all, I was enjoying myself now. It's been a little over 3 months or so since everything had happened. A girl who was once lost has been found. I no longer feel like I'm carrying a heavy weight on my shoulders. I finally feel free again and it's amazing. I don't think there could be anything, as of right now, that could possibly ruin anything I've got going for me right now. Ryan's locked up, I've got a new boyfriend and his friends are great, or so I would hope. I'm starting to get along with Madison, all of the squad is back together and stronger than ever, things are just going great for me. I'm not sure what the future holds for all of us, but hopefully, it's all good things.

I've been seeing this guy named Brady for the past 2 months now. He's a really nice guy, but then again, so was Ryan and we all know how that turned out. I don't think the boys trust him just yet, but give him a little time. His friend David is nice and I'm hoping this won't end up like my relationship with Ryan.

"Guys! I'm home! Hello?"

JJ ran down the stairs and hugged me, "I've missed you!"

"Babe, it's only been like 4 hours. I'm pretty sure you had something to occupy yourself with." I laughed.

"Nah. Jack went out with Madison for... a little over 37 years ago."

"So just you and me tonight?" I asked, he nodded, "Then let's go get something to eat. I'm too lazy to cook tonight."

"Don't you have finals soon? Shouldn't you be studying Ms. Johnson?"

"Meh, I still have 2 weeks."

"Procrastination? You're going places kid. So when am I gonna meet this Brady fella you're always talking about?"

"Oh... I didn't know you wanted to meet him so soon."

"Soon? Jamie, it's been 2 months."

"Well, I can schedule something. When do you wanna meet him?"

"Depends on what you hooligans are up to."

"We aren't doing much today? Maybe I can call him and work something out? And you can meet his friend, David, to assure yourself I'm in good hands."

"Sounds like a deal."

"Give me a couple minutes let me call him." I stepped outside to call Brady for a while and we're all going out to eat tonight, "so he & David will be meeting us at some fancy restaurant a couple blocks from the school at 6."

"You should go get ready. You females take forever to get ready."

"That's an understatement. That's only SOME of us, thank you very much." I ran upstairs.

"Your phone's ringing. Blocked caller."

"Can you answer it for me?"

I heard him talking on the phone, he sounded frustrated, "Jack... is everything alright?"

"It was Ryan...??" he was just as confused as I was.

"You mean... As in..." I was speechless.

"Jasmine just texted you, saying it's an SOS."

"Here let's call her." the phone rang for a little.

"Jamie. Ryan just escaped from prison. I don't know how, I don't know when, but it was on the news and it's Ryan. I'm flying out there soon and I told G already, he said he booked something for our families to get them out of Omaha until we get Ryan locked up for good."

I sighed, "Oh my god. Okay, let me know when you're here."

Things were finally going good, I was finally happy. I was enjoying my life. Then he managed to get out of jail. It seems like every time I finally find my happiness or some peace in my life, something just has to happen. But it's okay, I've dealt with Ryan once, I can do it again.

"Jack, I just got a text from Ryan."

"What does it say?"

"Thought you got me locked up? Far from it love, I'll tell you that. The next time I see you, I'll make sure you're the one in Jack's position when he was in the hospital. Except, I'll make sure you don't wake up. See you soon baby girl. -Ryan."

"Jamie, don't panic. We just need to let the others know and start planning things out before anyone gets hurt again."

"That's what I'm afraid of. Last time we had a plan, someone got hurt and nearly died. What if our plan is 10x better, but someone still manages to get hurt. What do we do then? I thought I had my life all put together, I was happy. All I had to worry about was my school work and all that, just like the old high school days. Now he's out on the loose and he could hurt someone else that I care about." I sat down and put my head in my hands.

"Listen to me, we managed to get him in jail last time. Yes, someone nearly died, well 2 people, but what's a mission without a risk? If we die, we die fighting. We'll be like superheroes. I will be here for you, fighting alongside you, every step of the way. Ryan wants a battle? Then he'll get a battle. But, he should know, good always wins. Okay?"

I nodded my head and hugged him. Ryan, I have 3 words for you. Bring. It. On.
