*Jamie's POV*
Jack and I still haven't made amends yet, but whatever. He decided to choose her over me. I guess I'll just have to deal with this. It's not something that I'm proud of him doing, but whatever. Just gonna shake it off and pretend this never happened. Pretend she never happened.
"James!" Nash called out.
"NASHLEY? IS THAT YOU?" I ran into the living room.
"Hey, stranger!"
I hugged him, "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be packing up? Didn't you get evicted or something like that?"
He laughed, "I see you've been watching my videos."
"Gotta do something to keep up with your life."
"There's an invention they call a phone, Jamie. Ever heard of it?" he joked.
"OH! That thing that dries your hair?"
"Bingo. Feel smart yet?" I laughed, "So when are you headed back home?" he asked.
"Oh, I guess my presence is unneeded. Or should I say unwanted. Who else wants me to leave?"
"Nooooo! I don't want you to go! I'm just asking."
"It's okay. Ummm... well, I'm headed back sometime this week to get away from all of this. It's too much. I need to leave and get away from all these bad vibes. I need to find a place to stay though, because I'm pretty sure the next time I come, I'll be bringing all my stuff from home over."
"Wait a minute, so you're moving out here? For sure?" he asked with gleaming eyes.
"Yes, sir!' I smiled.
"YES!!! WE'RE GONNA PARTY LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW!"
"Well, after I do my studies."
"Why of course my kind lady."
"What are you doing here, anyways?" I asked.
"Do you not want me here?" he pouted.
"It's not that! You're just always so busy! Didn't you just get done filming your movie?"
"Yeah, but I just wanted to hang out with little Jaime over here. So do you wanna get some food or something?" He asked.
"That would be great." I laughed.
Nash & I talked about his movie and this argument during the ride to grab a bite. Which just ended up us getting food at the local McDonald's.
"Hello?" Nash answered his phone, he pulled over so we could switch places, "yeah man... I don't think that's a good idea... No no no no. I want no part in this. If this all ends downhill, and I get my head chewed off, I'm putting the blame on you. If I'm going down, you're coming down with me." he hung up.
"Who was that? Sounded pretty serious." I asked.
"Nah, it was just Cam. Messing around as usual you know?" he lied.
"Oh, gotcha. So where are we headed now? I don't know where I'm going because someone over here wanted to 'surprise' me."
"Let's just go back to my place, you can help me pack."
"Well, I don't know what else I would do with this time that I have. I'll go apartment hunting tomorrow."
"I can come with you if you'd like. Cam & I aren't doing much tomorrow."
"Sounds good." I said.
What is going on? That conversation was not with Cam and I'm certain of it. How do I know he was lying? Because I'm like Emma Swan from Once Upon a Time, I can tell when people are lying. It's a talent. For an actor, when it comes to lying to his friends, Nash isn't very believable.
The car ride took a while because I still haven't gotten use to these LA streets yet. But I will in a few weeks. Once we got to the apartment, I walked in on something I didn't want to face. Jack.
*Jack's POV*
I'm really grateful Nash pulled through. I needed to talk to my best friend and tell her what happened. I needed to apologize for what had happened. I just needed my best friend back... my girl best friend.
"Jamie."
"Nash, I'm leaving." she said.
"Please," I pulled her back, "hear me out."
She glared at me, "Why? So you can make more false accusations? No thank you. I'm leaving."
I knew I had to start talking, "I'm really sorry I didn't wait to listen to both sides of the story before picking a side. And I know I chose the wrong side. I should've listened to someone I've known for my whole life rather than someone whom I barely met."
"You're damn right. Now I'm leaving. Goodbye, everyone see you soon." she said.
"Nothing can ever make up for what I did to you, Jamie. I know that now. There's nothing that I can do. When I saw how mad and upset you were, I knew that I had done something very wrong and I can never forgive myself for making that mistake. Just please? I need my best friend back."
She looked at me. She's doing that thing she does with her eyebrows when she's about to burst. It's like in the cartoons where the character turns red and the fumes come out of their ears. Boy was I in for a some nasty words.
