Life with the Watsons was the best thing that could've happened to Tommy.

He had to get moved to a different school when he started living with them, but that didn't bother Tommy since he was heavily bullied at his old one. He would get into many fights, get beaten up or picked on... That was until he snapped and started fighting back.

Eventually, he got so good at fighting back that no one messed with him. People called him a "Mad Dog," which did bother him a bit, but it was better than getting fucked with or bullied.

This was a good thing for Tommy to be switching schools. No more whispering in the halls or scared looks when he walks down them. A fresh start was well overdue.

But obviously, Tommy doesn't ever get what he wants.

Rumors of that silly little nickname from his last school spread like wildfire. Everyone did the same thing as last time: avoid him and whisper with side-eyed glances in the hallway.

Honestly, it was typical, and Tommy scoffed at those idiots.

He had no friends, no one to eat lunch with, no one to help him with his schoolwork, and no one to talk to.

That was until he met Tubbo and Ranboo.

It was another uneventful day at school when the science teacher assigned a project that required everyone to get into groups of three. Tommy dreaded group projects because he was always left alone.

But this time was different.

As everyone began to move into their chosen groups, the teacher stopped them.

She had said, "Nope! Sorry, kids, but since you guys like to leave people out, I will be the one assigning you to your groups!"

Every last one of the kids groaned. Some even looked over at Tommy with wide eyes. He knew the reason why. Almost all of them looked at him like that because they hoped not to be paired up with him. Tommy just rolled his eyes.

The teacher assigned the groups, and finally, she called out Tommy's name.

"The last group will be..." She squinted at the paper, "Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo!"

Tommy knew those kids, not personally, but he heard rumors. Tubbo was smaller but ferocious. Some even called him a "Mad Scientist" for some reason Tommy did not know.

Ranboo, on the other hand, was known for being quiet and reserved, but people didn't mess with him because they knew Tubbo would fuck them up if they did.

Tommy looked over at the duo and saw Tubbo smiling madly and Ranboo's mischievous eyes.

The duo made their way over to Tommy's table, and Tubbo plopped down into the seat in front of him. Ranboo, on the other hand, sat down in a more reserved way, shoulders semi-relaxed.

Tommy was about to say something when Tubbo beat him to it, "Oh, my prime! Dude, you have no idea how long we've wanted to talk to you!"

This took Tommy aback. Did someone actually want to talk to him? What the fuck?

"What?" Tommy said with wide but confused eyes.

"Seriously! We've been waiting for months since you got here to introduce ourselves, but we never got the chance," Ranboo groaned.

"I- But why? Aren't you scared of me? Or being seen with me!?" Tommy exclaimed.

Tubbo let out a loud laugh, "Why would we be?"

"Because- Haven't you heard the names people call me? Ya, know, I'm the "Mad Dog" of the school!" Tommy put quotations around the world with his fingers.

Tubbo's shoulders dropped, and he tilted his head, "And? Everyone in this school literally thinks I'm crazy, which they aren't completely wrong, but still."

Ranboo rolled his eyes with a fond grin, "We should probably get started on this project instead of just talking, or the teacher really will think we're crazy and maybe even try to split us up."

"Oh, yeah... that's probably a good idea," Tubbo chuckled and began writing on his worksheet, Ranboo following in his steps.

"Uh, guys... Before we start, you should probably know that I'm seriously bad at science... I'm borderline failing..." Tommy looks down at his paper, away from their piercing gaze.

"Oh! That's no problem, dude. We are gonna ace this shit. They don't call me a mad scientist for nothing," Tubbo says with a smug expression.

Tommy's head snapped up, and for the first time since he had been at this school, he smiled, "Pog," and that was all he needed to say.

After that, their duo became a trio. If you saw Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo were always nearby.

They stuck to each other like glue.

It seemed like Tubbo wasn't scared of anything, while Ranboo was afraid of everything. But surprisingly, neither of them were scared of him.

It was a match made in heaven- or hell if you ask anyone else.
