I walked into the shop filled with bits and bobs of metal and knick-knacks until my eyes met with a white-haired black boy. He was carrying a box full of scraps as he saw me. "Hey Benzo, I'm leaving you with this girl, just to give her something to do before she goes back to Piltover" Vander replied. "Sure, Ekko, what's going on with that thing?" Benzo shouted, as the boy was fixing a machine with a wrench. "Give me a few seconds. The canon pinion's still busted!" He shouted out. "Finish it later. Before you go Vander, I need a word" Benzo ordered, as Ekko pouted "But-" Ekko was about to retort before Benzo cut him off "Uh-uh, off you go. And take the girl with you" he replied back, as Ekko threw the wrench on the floor in frustration.

He ordered me to follow him without saying a word as I helped him with a box to bring outside. "Hey Claggor!" Ekko exclaimed. "Hey, little man!" Claggor responded back, as he patted him on the back. "Little man? I questioned Ekko, as he looked at me with a serious face. "And who are you supposed to be?" He asked me, as he circled around me. "I'm Semona. I'm not from here" I said, as he softly smiled at me. "Well Semona, I'm Ekko, nice to meet you" he introduced, as we both shook hands. "So Ekko, I was hoping you'd be working today" Claggor replied, as Ekko cut him off. "Did you guys go? He asked, as Claggor nodded. "Hey, listen, how did you find that place?" Claggor asked, while taking off his goggles, as we both looked at him shock. "Woah, did you fight the enforcers?" Ekko asked, excitedly, as I looked at him weirdly. "What? Oh, no, just a couple of bums" Claggor responded. "Did Vi kick their asses? Ekko asked. "Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't be otherwise- Claggor was about to continue. "Oh, she showed me a couple of moves to practice, look" Ekko responded, as he showed Claggor his karate moves, as I laughed, and looked at me, a little embarrassed. "Yeah, it's...coming along. So how'd you find the place anyway?"Claggor repeated the question again. "Uh, this weirdo came into the shop. Bought a whole bunch of stuff Benzo only keeps there for display. He paid in gold and didn't even haggle. I charged him double price. Sucker" Ekko muttered. "But how did you know where he lived?" Claggor asked, curious to know. "Uh, followed him. How else?" Ekko answered. "So, you pretty much spy on people?" I asked. "Eh, pretty much" Ekko said, as his gaze looked across the alleyway, spotting a bunch of enforcers in the distance.

"Oh no, they're probably here for me! I can't go back to Piltover yet! I mean, I know my sister will kill me, but still?!" I cried, as Claggor replied, "Not just you, they're looking for me and the others too". "They'll be fine. Go!" Ekko ordered both me and Claggor. "Claggor, you go cause you're in more trouble than me. I'm staying with you Ekko!" I ordered, as Ekko looked at me in shock. "I would argue with you but there's no time for that. But they'll see you too!" Ekko replied as I pulled up my hood over my face to cover my identity. "Don't worry, I'm good at blending in. Just act natural" I replied, as Ekko rested his arm on one of the wooden crates. "Well, hello" Ekko said, as the enforcers looked at both of us. One of them inspected me closely as he walked away into Benzo's shop. "Come on, follow me!" Ekko replied, as I followed him on the top of the roof. He walked towards some type of device to listen in on the conversation. "Wow you're pretty good at making stuff from scraps and metal" I complimented him, as he looked at me and smiled.

As we both listened into the conversation, we could hear the leader talking about some kind of deal with Vander, Ekko stood there for a minute looking stunned. "What does she mean about this deal?" I asked, as I waited for him to respond. "Vander's working with the enforcers, I don't know what for. I have to find Vi and the others. You should go back to Piltover. I'm sure your sister's probably worried about you by now" Ekko replied, looking a bit disappointed, as I crossed my arms and looked at him. "Yeah, you're probably right. I'll be back tomorrow" I answered, reassuringly.

Afternoon came by fast, as I once again, sneaked off in the middle of the councillor's meeting that my sister attended, and headed straight for Zaun to meet up with Vi as the others. By now, Vi had warmed up to me a little bit so that made me feel at ease. I caught her throwing a couple of punches at some old boxing machine. "Wow Vi, you're really good" I complimented, as she gave me a thank you smile. "Remind me why we bother this dump." Mylo replied, whilst examining his toy gun. "Vander said to lay low" Vi responded, as I remembered back to what I heard Vander had done, along with Ekko reminding me not to say anything to others. "Enforcers never come down here, so this is a good as place as any" Vi continued. "What's the matter Mylo? You worried Powder's gonna beat you again?" Claggor taunted, as I laughed out aloud. "Again? You mean this has happened more than once?" I asked Claggor. "Yep, 4 times in a row" Claggor answered. "Hey, it's not funny. Besides, if she didn't keep fixing these things, I wouldn't keep missing" Mylo sulked, as Powder powered up the game machine. The conversation continued, as Mylo began to deeply explain how he didn't want Powder to come on the missions with them. Powder got a bit offended as she beat Mylo again for the 5th time. Putting my hand on her shoulder, I replied, "Don't take on Mylo. I know I haven't been on any of the missions you've been on, but for what it's worth, you're a great addition to the team". "Thanks, I wish you could stay here with us forever" Powder responded, as I smiled and she walked off "Hey guys, you should see this-" before Powder could finish off her sentence, the glass shattered, as a scraggy-looking boy came smashing through.

All we could see were the enforcers standing there glaring at us. "Search them" one of the enforcers ordered, as all three of them stepped inside. "Go ahead idiots. We've got nothing." Mylo replied, as I stood there frozen. All of a sudden, Claggor turned off the lights, as we all made a run for it. We was all trapped until Ekko dropped down a ladder for all of us to climb. "Over here" he replied, as I climbed up the ladder first. Are you ok?" Ekko asked me, looking concerned, as he noticed a few bruises on my face, from getting hit by one of the enforcers. "Yeah, I'm fine. A...little out of my breath...but I'm fine" I responded. We walked in the middle of a conversation between Vander and some other lady as Claggor asked Vi, "Why isn't he doing anything?". I pieced together in my mind that Vander was supposed to fight them off but he didn't. "We kicked the Enforcers' butts with just the four of us. Imagine what the whole of the Lanes could do" Powder replied as the others walked off apart from Vi and Powder as they noticed both me and Ekko were quiet than usual, especially Ekko. We both exchange glances at each as Vi looked at both of us. "Spill it Ekko" she ordered him "Um, okay. Well,Vander's got a deal with the enforcers" he answered, looking a bit guilty as Vi looked at him, shocked. "What deal?"

I checked my watch and looked at the time, as I realized I had to attend a trial meeting. "Shoot, I got to go" I replied, as Ekko looked upset again. "Already? But you just got here" he responded. "I know, but I promise I'll be back later" I reassured him, as I quickly ran back to Piltover. My sister was about to take her seat until she saw me again. "Sorry I'm late. I lost track of the time" I replied, as she fixed my dress for me to make myself look presentable. "You know you can't keep galivanting where you'll feel like and then keep turning up to these important meetings late" Mel replied, as I mumbled underneath my breath, "Well, maybe if I didn't have to attend these boring meetings, I wouldn't go running off wherever I feel like". She caught onto what I was saying, as she took a big sigh. "One day, you'll understand. Now sit down, the trial is about to begin."
