After the trial, I sneaked out once again to go down to the Undercity. Once I got to the last place I left the others, a massacre presented itself before me. There was blood everywhere and 2 enforcers were on the ground. Benzo's shop appeared to be open as I slowly crept inside. As I took my first, steady step into the shop, I spotted Vi hugging Ekko, who looked very distressed. "What happened here?!" I asked, confused. Ekko looked at me and slowly said, "Benzo's dead". "What? No, he can't be!" I replied, a tear starting to fall down my face. "It's true. We must go and tell the others" Vi answered, as we both began and walk out the door but stopped in our tracks. "Ekko, aren't you coming?" I asked. "N-no, you can carry on. I'll catch up with you both. I just need some time alone" Ekko replied, looking down on the floor. I quickly ran up and hugged him tightly, but he was too upset to return the favor.

Back where the others were, Powder hugged Vi as soon as she walked in through the door. "Oh, you're back!" she hugged her, as Vi looked at her sister with teary eyes, and slowly walked away. "Hey! Those are Vander's. Slow down. What's going on?" Mylo asked. "Benzo's dead." I answered. "Dead?" Claggor responded, looking shocked. "They took Vander" Vi continued. "Who took Vander?" Mylo asked again. "I don't know, but I need to help him" Vi said. "We're going with you" Mylo reassured her. "Whatever killed Benzo...was like nothing I've ever seen. It tore him apart" Vi sobbed. "You're not doing this alone, Vi" Claggor said. "He's our father too" Mylo followed. "How would you know where he was taken?" I asked Vi, as she turned to look at me. "Before you came, I asked Ekko to follow them. The old cannery next to the docks. He said..." Vi stopped, as we all turned to see what she was looking at. Powder looked like she was ready to go. Vi sighed heavily and said, "I need you to sit this one out, Powder". "What?" Powder asked, taken back a little. "You're not coming." Vi replied, as Powder retaliated back. "I'm not afraid". "It's too dangerous!" Vi warned her. "But families stick together. You said it yourself" Powder shouted back. "I know what I said- "Vi was about to respond as Powder cut her off. "I want to fight. I can help". "You're not ready!" Vi said, as Powder looked hurt by her comment.

"You're all I have left. I can't lose you" Vi explained to her. "Here. If they come for you, take this and run. Wherever you are, light it up and I'll find you. I promise." She reassured her as she gave Powder a flare device. "Semona, can you stay back and watch Powder for me" Vi asked me, with concern in her eyes. "You got it" I promised her, as she gave me a small smile before giving one last look at her sister, not knowing whether she'll see her again. As soon as Vi, Mylo and Claggor left out, Powder started to have a big meltdown. I panicked not knowing what to do so I stepped out for a bit but when I returned, Powder was gone. "Oh no, Semona, you shouldn't have walked out. Vi is going to kill me! I got to go after her!" I told myself, as I headed for the old cannery.

Once I arrived there, there was a group of people hovering around Vi. I couldn't spot Powder, so I carefully step inside through the broken glass, and tiptoed inside. The first thing I saw was this horrid creature looking like he was about to fight Vi. I managed to spot Mylo and Claggor trying to help Vander as I slowly made my way towards them. "Semona! What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be with Powder?" Mylo asked, whilst trying to unlock Vander out of the chair. "She escaped. I don't where she is! You guys look like you need help" I replied, giving a reassuring smile at Vander. "Just keep watch while I've almost made a way out" Claggor instructed me as I peeked out of the open door, watching Vi fight off the monster, which was painful for me to see. Suddenly, I spotted from afar what looked like a toy monkey, with a shiny gem inside. My whole body tensed up as I knew who it was. "Vi! Look out!" I warned her, heading towards her, as she gave me one final look, but it was too late.

A blue, lit explosion spread throughout the building as I pounded into a wall. Once I got hit, I looked around me, as I saw Claggor lifeless from a far and a piece of rubble crushing Mylo's tiny body. I went to go and get up, but realized that I couldn't move at all, as I looked down at my body, and noticed a big piece of glass was imbedded in my stomach; blood slowly starting to pour out. A wave of nausea and dizziness started to hit me, as my vision went blurry and I blacked out. As I opened my eyes again, I saw a tall man and a group of others carrying Powder away. I'm not sure what happened before or why they were taking her. The blood from my stomach had almost soaked my top as I clutched onto the wound tightly and closed my eyes for the final time.

Ekko POV

As I approached the old cannery and entered the building to where the explosion had taken place, I noticed Mylo and Claggor dead bodies, as I breathed heavily. Looking around the mess before me, I spotted Semona with her eyes closed, as I quickly ran to her to see if she was alive. I checked her pulse but felt nothing as I cried silently. "We never even got to say goodbye. You weren't supposed to be here. If you hadn't come to the Undercity and met me, this wouldn't have happened" I said to myself, pretending as if she could hear me. I slipped a necklace around her neck, as something to leave her with, despite knowing she was dead. I heard a noise coming from inside the building, as I spotted a few enforcers and councilors, and quickly slipped away, but before I did, I hugged Semona tightly, close to my chest.
