There have been many stories and legends since the dawn of time, This story was no different than the rest. This is a story of a boy, his friends, and a prophecy about saving his hometown, but not from a selfish king, but from a foe much bigger than that. This boy will have to give it his all to save his home from danger, His name: Craig Williams of the Creek.

-------

Long Ago, In the medieval ages, There was a town called Greenflower Creek, a small rural town filled with many different people and many personalities. The town was in a beautiful creek filled with beautiful flora, it seemed like the perfect place to live...Unfortunately, the town had a dark side. There was an evil sorceress spirit that torments the town, a sorceress that raises the dead to attack the living, Her name was Nimue.

Nimue unleashed an unspeakable horror on the town and plans to destroy the balance of peace inside of it...that is until that day had come. A young and valiant knight wielding a bright green sword had decided to stand against the spirit, His name was Miles the Valiant.

A young man was approaching the creek, he had dark brown skin, black long hair in a ponytail and brown eyes. He wore a green tunic, a brown vest, a maroon scarf, dark blue pants, and brown boots. He held a sword with a light green blade, a hilt with four leaves with a cyan gem in the middle, a golden handle and a green leaf-like hilt. He was Miles the Valiant and he was racing towards a cruel spirit. She had pale skin, light purple eyes with cat-like irises, green hair and wore a black and tattered dress. She was Nimue.

Miles had fought off many of the undead and fought through Nimue's spells, it was hard since the ground cracked around him and he had been injured, but he persevered through the fight because he was determined to save his home. "Why do you still fight? I've destroyed everything that you have loved" Nimue taunted.

"I fight because it's not just my home that I am fighting for, It is the life of the town and the creek and the beings who live in this world. I, Miles the Valiant, am the protector of this Creek and this town" Miles answered. Miles then held his sword in determination, the sword glowed brightly in a green color. "Nimue! Your reign of terror is ending now!" He shouted. The knight rushed forward towards the witch, Miles had thrusted the sword into Nimue and a bright light flashed from everywhere.

Meanwhile in present time, Isabella "Stacks' ' Alvarado was reading about the legend to the Stump Kids: Craig Williams, Kelsey Pokoly, and J.P Mercer. "The moment Miles the Valiant thrusted his mighty sword, Nimue had disappeared into a flash of light. And the knight had sealed away the demon inside of the Creek, never to be seen again, but the prophecy says of this: When the dust has settled surpassing 8 centuries of this earth, The great witch will reappear and destroy the creek and the town that is with it, but the Valiant's ancestor shall rise up and bring dawn to the day" Stacks narrated.

"Woah...that's incredible!" Kelsey exclaimed in excitement.

"That sounds too good to be true!" J.P added.

"What an awesome story, Stacks!" Craig marveled, having enjoyed the story.

"I know, this tale looks so cool and believable! I feel like it actually happened! I like this tale!" Stacks exclaimed in joy.

"If it's too good to be true, I bet we can be like Miles!" Craig added.

"Maybe you can, but it's probably just fiction, anyways, maybe you can take the book with you" Stacks said as she gave Craig the book with the legend in it.

"Really, Thanks Stacks!" Kelsey exclaimed, hugging her girlfriend. The Stump Kids then walked out of the library and sat on the sidewalk, Craig then looked at the book, Kelsey and J.P came to him. "Man, this book is so cool! I'm going to have to read this to Jessica, I bet she'll like it!" Craig chimed.

"That book had the coolest adventure I've dreamed of!" Kelsey exclaimed in joy.

"It'll be so much fun if we would be like those heroes!" J.P cheered. Craig then flipped through the pages until he reached a page with a picture of Miles, the trio looked at the photograph and saw that it mirrors someone familiar. "Craig...he looks just like you" Kelsey remarked. Craig looked at the picture, it did look like him, the him he wanted to be. "Looks like he may be related to you" J.P remarked.

"Yeah...he kind of looks like he could be my long-lost ancestor" Craig commented.

"Craig? Do you really think the legend is real?" J.P pondered, wondering about the legend. Craig thought about what his friend said, Is the legend really real? or some fictional vision, Craig then sighed, and he closed the book. "It's hard to say, J.P, but if it is, we will try and live up to the legacy Miles left" Craig stated, sure of his words. Kelsey and J.P nodded and agreed with their friend's words, Suddenly, Craig's map was blown away in the wind.

"The map!" Craig exclaimed in shock.

"Quick! We have to get it back!" J.P shouted. The trio then raced after the map as it flew around the town, they chased after it for hours, avoiding things and people in the process. "Wait! Wait up, map!" Craig yelled in desperation and running out of breath. It seems that the map would be flown away from the kids, and they would never find their way through the creek again...that is until a new kid leapt in the air and caught the map, The Stump Kids stopped running and looked at the savior of the map. She had dark tan skin, black hair filled with leaves, and black eyes. She wore a cyan shirt, blue shorts, brown combat boots, and wore medical tape on her right leg.

"Excuse me, is this your map?" The girl asked, holding the map to Craig. Craig sighed in relief as he grabbed his map. "Yeah, thanks!" He responded.

"Woah, you look so cool! You look like one of those protagonists from those fantasy-adventure books!" Kelsey complimented to the girl. The girl laughed as she approached to the Stump Kids. "Thanks, kid. You guys look like a good group of friends" The Girl replied.

"Thanks, we're the Stump Kids!" J.P cheered.

"Stump Kids, Huh?" The girl asked.

"Yeah, I'm Craig, and these are my friends: Kelsey and J.P." Craig answered.

"Nice names, kid, Name's Flora Rosenburg, But you can call me Twig" The girl named Twig replied as she shook hands with Craig.

"Twig, what a cool nickname!" J.P cheered.

"So, what brings you here?" Kelsey asked as the four walked across the street.

"I have moved here with my family because my dad had got an inventing job, At first, I didn't like it here but I'm starting to warm up to it here" Twig explained.

"I definitely understand that, when I first moved here in Herkleton, I felt scared and nervous around everything. But then I started to feel more accustomed to it and I met Kelsey and J.P. And I got to go on a grand treasure adventure! And we have been having adventures at the Creek since then, maybe you can join with us on our adventure today! Since we're friends now" Craig added.

"That sure sounds fun!" Twig marveled as she agreed with the idea. With that, the four raced towards the Creek to start another adventure in the Creek.
