Craig of the Creek: Fighting for the Creek

Everything was quiet and still, the branches from the ground was gone and the brambles were gone as well. The cracks were fixed, like the earthquake had never happened in Herkleton, everyone recovered from the blinding flash that had happened before, J.P looked around. "What happened?! Did we, do it?!" He exclaimed. Twig looked around to see if there was any sign of Nimue...There was none, Twig laughed in joy. "WEEEEEE DID IT!" Twig cheered. The Creek Kids along with the citizens of Herkleton then cheered in joy, relieved that the trouble they went through is finally over, then something dawned on the Stump Kids: Craig wasn't with them. "W-where's Craig?" Omar asked, worried.

"Is he ok?! Where is he?!" Nicole exclaimed in worry as she looked around. Everyone searched around for Craig, Bobby then saw The Sword of the Creek laying on the ground by itself, back to what it was before Craig found it...he then saw Craig on the ground, unmoving. "I found him!" Bobby shouted, pointing to Craig's body. The Stump Kids and their family quickly ran towards Craig, Twig turned his body around. "Craig! Wake up! We did it...Craig?" Jessica exclaimed, trying to wake him up. Craig did not respond...and he wasn't waking up too, everyone began to look in worry.

"Why isn't he waking?!...WHY ISN'T HE WAKING UP?!" Kelsey shouted in desperation.

"You're joking, right...You can't be serious, little bro!" Bernard stuttered, not believing what was happening.

"Come on, Cuzzo! You can't do this! You're a fighter!" Bryson begged, shaking Craig's unconscious body.

"Check his heartbeat!" Twig exclaimed. Omar and Kelsey put both of their ears on Craig's chest, trying to hear a heartbeat...they couldn't hear anything, Kelsey gasped, and Omar shook his head in disbelief. "No way...this can't be happening" Kelsey whispered, tears welling up from her eyes.

"Is... Is he dead?" Jessica quivered, starting to cry. Everyone was in disbelief of what's happening, they were out of danger...but they lost a friend, The Williams mourned for the lost of their own. "Oh Craig, my poor little man, '' Duane said sadly. Bernard collapsed on his knees as he sobbed, his hands over his eyes as tears streamed down, Alexis comforting him. "No! Craig! You can't leave us...you can't!" Jessica cried, upset at her brother's death. Nicole comforted her, crying as well, Jojo and Earl comforted them as well as they shed tears of their own.

"Craig...We were supposed to be a dream team" Bryson sobbed, Jasmine comforting him. Darnell and Kim comforted each other as they were also heartbroken by their loss. The Creek Kids were mourning Craig's death, some were crying, and some were shedding tears at the scene, The remaining Stump kids looked at Craig's body in total devastation.

"Oh Craig...We love you...A-and we're sorry we couldn't protect you" Kelsey cried in grief, Mortimer nuzzling Craig's face in tears.

"Oh Craig! You poor innocent soul, you don't deserve to die!" J.P bawled, hugging his body.

"You're lost for good...but you did what you have done" Omar stuttered, shedding tears.

"You've done good, pal...You've done good" Twig said before bursting into tears.

The citizens then bowed their heads, mourning their loss and paying respects to the adventurous kid who fulfilled his ultimate destiny, The whole town of Herkleton had mourned for Craig Williams of the Creek, the boy who had saved the town from their darkest hour.

Amidst all the mourning, however, the sword laid still with nobody attending to it...the gem in the center started glowing, at first, in the tone of a heartbeat, then glowing in a bright green light. As the Stump Kids kept mourning for Craig, A green glow caught their attention. They looked to see the source and couldn't believe their eyes: Craig's heart was glowing. The rest of The Creek Kids and Herkleton watched at the events, both in bewilderment and amazement. The sword's glow then busted into green light motes, one of the motes went to Craig and went into his chest, the glow from his heart bursting into light motes as well. The light motes formed a heart that wrapped around Craig's heart, his chest briefly glowing green as they entered inside of it.

Everyone looked in awe and amaze at the whole event, amazed at the light motes flying around the Creek. As this happened, a miracle happened: Craig gasped for breath, surprising the Stump Kids.

"C-Craig?!" Kelsey exclaimed in shock.

Craig slowly opened his eyes; he looked up to Kelsey and J.P. "Kelsey? ...J.P? He whispered. Kelsey and J.P couldn't believe their eyes, and neither did Twig and Omar, Craig then chuckled as he smiled at them. "See? I told you...I'd save the day" he said. Kelsey and J.P smiled as tears of joy fell from them, they then tackled Craig into a bear hug.

"CRAIG!" They cheered, crying in joy. Craig hugged back his two best friends in joy, they were quickly joined by the Williams, Twig, and Omar. The whole town of Herkleton and The Creek cheered in joy, beyond happy to have their friend back.

"Craig! You're alive! You're really alive!" J.P cheered.

"Don't ever leave us again, bro!" Bernard cried in joy.

"It's so good to be back, but I don't understand, what happened?" Craig asked, confused.

"Well, you defeated Nimue and then you've...went away" Omar answered, hesitating at the last few words.

"But you've been brought back to life! How did it feel?" Kelsey added, intrigued about all of this.

"It was like a dream...I was in some kind of field, and then Miles, Stefani, and Wilhelm were there and they said for me to live on with my life...It was incredible" Craig explained, tears of joy springing from his eyes. Everyone smiled as they hugged him again.

"That was so awesome, my guy!" Duane cheered.

"I can't believe you've defeated that witch! I'm so proud of you!" Nicole said, hugging her son.

"No, Mom...we did it...Us, Herkleton saved each other and the creek" Craig replied, glad that everything was over. Everyone celebrated the happy reunion, they have successfully saved their town and the creek from destruction, and with that...The prophecy was finally fulfilled.
