"Imogen, she's my sister, Lana." Keenan introduced me to the lady who waited in front of the door until we arrived.

"He hasn't told you anything about me?" she asked. Napailing naman ako kaagad. Keenan hasn't told me anything about his family. I am just a pretend wife after all. The only information I had was printed on the paper given to me before marrying him. I knew she had a sister, but I never get to see a picture of her.

"Grabe talaga. Isa itong kalapastanganan!" Lana said. She acted like she was hurt, pero tinarayan niya si Keenan pagkatapos.

I was surprised with her accent. She sounded filipino even though she doesn't look like one. She has a resemblance with Keenan, but she has more delicate features than him. She also has the same eye color. Emerald. She literally look like a doll.

"You don't have to get mad over it. It's not even a grand wedding." Keenan said. I looked over him as I nod. He's peacefully eating his dinner, not affected by his sister's outburst.

"Are you saying that you are this rich but you can't even give her a beautiful wedding?!" Lana's voice echoed in the dining room.

"I already told you, it's not serious." Keenan said.

It's not serious.

"Well, news flash, Keenan Accardi Aisenyev! It is a freaking wedding and a freaking wedding is a serious matter!" Lana exclaimed. Medyo kinapos pa siya ng hininga.

"Ito naman yung gusto mo, hindi ba? You wanted me to get married, so I got married." Keenan said.

"Well, duh?" Lana rolled her eyes after hearing her brother's sarcasm.

"And you!" turo niya sakin. "Kanina ka pa hindi nagsasalita! You don't have a say in this? Pumayag ka na kasalin sa ganito?" she asked while holding my shoulders with both of her hands.

"She's mute." Keenan said. Natigilan naman si Lana. I just smiled at her.

I have no choice. Besides being a Damari, I am nothing. Bonus pa na di ako makapag salita. Who would want me right?

"Sorry." she put her hands down and the atmosphere is suddenly awkward.

Natigilan din ako. Ngayon ko lang din napansin ang mga pagkain na nakahain sa hapag. Adobo sa gata. The dish that nanay Tilda often cooked during my childhood. When i'm having a bad day or something special happened, she will cook it for me. Oh I miss talking to her.

I took a bite and something inside me stir up. That's it. There goes that feeling again. The food is good. It's close to what nanay cooked, but there's something in me that is making me want to puke.

Every food I eat, there's always this urge to puke it all back out.

"Are you okay?" I drifted back to reality when I heard Lana's voice. She seems concerned. Tumango naman ako kaagad at tumuloy sa pagkain.

"Are you sure? You look like you're feeling sick just now..." Lana asked again. Tumango ulit ako bilang tugon.

"Is there a problem with the food?" napatingin naman ako kay Keenan. Napansin ko na tumigil siya sa pagkain.
