"So this is where you spend most of your time." Seige appeared out of nowhere after Imogen closed the fallboard of the piano. Kaagad siyang napatayo galing sa pagkakaupo niya sa silya at mabilis na lumayo mula sa kinatatayuan niya.
Nakita niya ba ako? Kanina pa ba siya nandito? Iyon lang ang tumatakbo sa isip ni Imogen noong mga oras na iyon. Hindi na siya tumutugtog ng piano para sa mga tao, ka niya sa sarili.
"It's just me. Why are you acting like you've seen a ghost?" tumitig lang siya saglit kay Seige at saka nagdesisyon na bumalik nalang sa greenhouse para tingnan ulit ang mga alaga niyang bulaklak. She walked past him and didn't even looked back.
She's on her way back to the mansion when she noticed a vehicle that just arrived. A commotion started shortly when two men, dressed in black uniform, went inside the mansion. They are later followed by Hunter and Seige, who are both running like crazy.
She observed them from the hallway thinking that there might be something or someone important inside that vehicle that caused them to be so anxious.
A familiar person came out from the car. She observed that he's struggling to walk because it seems like his left leg is injured and she also noticed that there's a heavy bleeding from his chest too. Para siyang binuhusan ng napakalamig na tubig noong mapagtanto ko kung sino ang taong iyon. It was Keenan. And his chest is bleeding so badly that his white collared shirt turned into dark red.
She ran as fast as she could para mapuntahan siya kaagad.
"Bakit ka ba dito dumiretso?! Bungol ka ba?!" tanong ni Hunter kay Keenan na may halong inis at pag aalala.
"Shut up. They will know that i'm h-here..." hinahapo si Keenan habang pinipilit na magsalita. Nabato naman siya habang nakatingin sakaniya. It's him. It's really him. Pagkatapos ng isang buwan at mahigit na ilang araw na nawala siya, andito na siya ulit.
"Of course they knew! Kaya ka nga nagkaganyan. Tanga ka ba?" sagot ulit ni Hunter habang sinusubukang alalayan si Keenan.
"They won't. I killed them before they can even inform that motherfucker. Fuck that Leonid." he tried to take small steps but his leg seems to have betrayed him.
"The doctor is on his way here. Let's get you to the clinic." Seige said. Compared to Hunter, he's calm. He knew what to do right away.
That clinic was designed to be useful at times like this. When someone gets injured and it's too dangerous for them to go to the hospital, they will be treated in there. Para iyong maliit na ospital. Kumpleto sa gamit. On-call nga lang ang mga doctor at nurses galing sa pribadong ospital na pagmamayari ng mga Aisenyev.
Imogen held his hand. She held Keenan's hand. She was trying so hard not to cry. Seeing him in this situation brings her back to the night when her father died. It scares her.
Keenan's attention was automatically directed towards her when she held his hand.
"Imogen..." His expression softens after he realizes that she was the one who touched him.
"Take her away from here." Keenan said softly as he was being transported going to the clinic. He's slowly losing his consciousness due to blood loss. Nabitawan ni Imogen ang kamay niya dahil sa bilis ng kilos ng mga umaalalay sakaniya. She shook her head hard as a sign of protest, para iparating sakaniya na ayaw niyang umalis sa tabi niya, pero hindi na siya muli pang tumingin pabalik sa direksiyon ng dalaga.
